并且，季铵盐-73可以全面治疗痤疮。它可以有效抑制引起痤疮的痤疮丙酸杆菌，从而抑制痤疮的生成，并很好地减少了痤疮消退后在表皮留下的痕迹以及色素沉淀。它是一种抗菌剂，同时也可在化妆品、护肤品中用作防腐剂。同样的，它也可以被应用于美白、均匀肤色、淡化斑点类的产品中。
