找不到简介在哪里的我是屑

这里会整理查莉成长日记我的笔记 算是非常详实了 从单词词组到句子

首先我会把原句摘下来

单词的翻译大多数时候会包括中文解释和英文解释 便于更加清晰地理解词义

单词和短语会带例句举一反三 且例句我都是有认真挑过的(e.g.为举例标志)

按照电视剧的内容顺序整理 所以配合查莉食用很方便[doge]

真的好喜欢查莉成长日记呀 但是在中国好像它并没有老友记之类的剧那么为人熟知

所以我也算安利一下了

cocky/ˈkɒki/

adj. 自大的;骄傲的;过于自信的

too confident about yourself in a way that annoys other people 

e.g.Don't get cocky when you've achieved something. 

 


 be on sb's ˈcase=to criticize sb all the time 不停地指责某人

e.g. She's always on my case about cleaning my room.

 


break down此处为拆解(以便分析)的意思

break sth down的详细用法

(1) to make sth fall down, open, etc. by hitting it hard 打倒,砸破(某物)

Firefighters had to break the door down to reach the people trapped inside. 消防队员不得不破门而入,解救困在里面的人。

(2) to destroy sth or make it disappear, especially a particular feeling or attitude that sb has 破坏,消除(尤指某种感情或态度)

to break down resistance/opposition 瓦解抵抗╱反对

to break down sb's reserve/shyness 驱除某人的矜持╱胆怯

Attempts must be made to break down the barriers of fear and hostility which divide the two communities. 必须设法消除造成这两个团体不和的恐惧和敌意。

(3) to divide sth into parts in order to analyse it or make it easier to do 把…分类;划分

Break your expenditure down into bills, food and other. 把支出费用按账单、食物及其他分类列明。

Each lesson is broken down into several units. 每一课都分成几部分。

(4) to make a substance separate into parts or change into a different form in a chemical process 使分解(为);使变化(成)

Sugar and starch are broken down in the stomach. 糖和淀粉在胃里被分解。

e.g.Just walk up to someone, say "hi" and introduce yourself.

 

insult

 v. 侮辱;辱骂;损害

v. 发恶臭;(非正式)讨厌透顶

irrational  /ɪˈræʃənl/  不合逻辑的;没有道理的 

not based on, or not using, clear logical thought

e.g.an irrational fear 无端的恐惧

 

e.g. Quite honestly, I couldn't care less what they do.

 a party for children or young people when a group of them spend the night at one house

 

Make Prank Phone Calls打恶作剧电话

e.g.I overheard a conversation between two boys on the bus.

 

handle to deal with a situation, a person, an area of work or a strong emotion 处理,应付(局势、人、工作或感情)

e.g.She's very good at handling her patients

gals n. 女孩儿们(gal的复数,等于girls)

 


ridiculous /rɪˈdɪkjələs/  adj可笑的,荒谬的

 


crank  用曲柄转动(或启动)

crank sth up

(1) to make a machine, etc. work or work at a higher level 使机器运转;使…提高效率

(2) to make music, etc. louder (把音乐等的音量)开大,调高

e.g.Crank up the volume! 把音量放大些!

spotless adj    perfectly clean 极清洁的;非常洁净的

e.g. a spotless white shirt 洁白的衬衣

 

brilliant  adj. extremely clever or impressive 巧妙的;使人印象深的

e.g.What a brilliant idea! 


 receipt /rɪˈsiːt/ c.n.

 a piece of paper that shows that goods or services have been paid for 收据;收条

 


furious  adj.

~ (with sb)~ (at sth/sb)~ (that...)very angry 狂怒的;暴怒的

e.g. He was furious with himself for letting things get so out of control. 

 


give sb a piece of my mind痛骂某人一顿

e.g.He was too cocky, so I gave him a piece of my mind.

 


cause a scene当众大吵大闹

e.g.Please dress up before you show up.

e.g.If that's what you want to do, I guess it's out of my hands. 

 


echo c.n.(复数+oes)回响回声回音。

e.g.There was an echo on the line and I couldn't hear clearly. 电话里有回音,我听不清楚。

 


phase c.n.
a stage in a process of change or development 阶段;时期

 e.g.He's not bringing fans into the seats anymore because the record phase is over.
