第七章 事发前端（下）
1945年
8月31日，CIA人事管理员科尼利厄斯·佩尔诺确认了彼特·麦昆已经成功渗入935小组内部，并被转派到了疗养院基地。佩尔诺怀疑935小组已经失去了对他们自己的实验的控制，并派遣了一队陆军侦察兵前去救出彼特。小队由坦克·邓浦西所带领。
9月1日，彼特间谍身份暴露，被935小组所捕获。
9月2日，瑞奇托芬在日记中记录巴勃罗已经在一次脾脏切除中死亡。他同时也揭露了他正在萨曼莎身上进行一些实验。
第二次世界大战终结。935小组继续着他们的研究。
同时，时空裂缝开始影响疗养院基地。一个勤务兵报告实验品愈加频繁地出现问题。很多在基地内部的人员开始听到从墙内传来的声音，包括一个男孩和一个女孩的哭声，喊叫声，以及一个男人在大叫着让孩子们关上窗户的声音。
9月3日，疗养院基地内发生了僵尸爆发。彼特·麦昆得以逃离。
9月6日 ，邓浦西，约翰·芭娜娜，斯默基以及一个第四名陆军展示到达了疗养院基地，但发现疗养院已经被僵尸所侵占。他们尽他们所能地抗击僵尸，最终邓浦西被935小组所捕获。
9月7日，约翰·芭娜娜在被僵尸化的斯默基生吃的同时录下了他最后的话。
9月10日,瑞奇托芬在日记中提到另一个间谍已经被抓到，并且会被带来替代“墨西哥实验品”，他原指彼特·麦昆。

Today was a good day.The swelling has subsided, the ice helps.They made liverwurst for lunch. It was*** I still have not had any luck reprogramming any of the live specimens.
Dr.Ma*** says the key to unlocking the human mind will be more easily discovered of someone who isn't dead yet. I am not convinced.The army is stored until I can fix this, this trust barrier.
Oh. Apparently someone in security found a spy today, they are delivering him from***, to replace the one that I broke.

马(西斯)博士说破解人类意念的关键是对活人进行研究。我不是很相信,军队在我破解这个问题之前都会先被安置好,是信任问题。
噢对了，他们今天发现了一个间谍,他们正把他送来给我。正好代替被我干掉那个。
“军队”就是935小组所研究的僵尸军队，然而瑞奇托芬能看到其中的弊端∶他们还没有对僵尸进行好意念的控制。然而他更提到了他要使用一个被发现的间谍来代替墨西哥的试验品，而这个间谍正是邓浦西。
9月13日，科尼利厄斯·佩尔诺尝试发送一则电报给彼特·麦昆，让他前往旭日基地（沼泽）。
9月17日，邓浦西被送达西伯利亚基地。

Richtofen:"I suppose this must be the replacement then. Time to get to work!"

瑞奇托芬:“我想这肯定是他们送来的新试验品，开始工作吧!”
邓浦西:“我还听着呢！”
瑞奇托芬:”再给他夹一棍子!”
从这里可以得知所谓的间谍其实本该是彼特·麦昆，而彼特·麦昆趁僵尸爆发逃跑了，去救彼特·麦昆的邓浦西却被抓了，瑞奇托芬使用他来代替了被他杀害的墨西哥试验品。
9月20日，瑞奇托芬记录了他的实验品们的性格特点，邓浦西“仿佛智力低下，但意志顽强”；武雄“仍然盯着地板，不断地低声读着某些像是谚语一般的话”；尼古莱“最近开始对于刺激有反应，但是只有在注射过一种新的主要由伏特加制作的血清以后”。瑞奇托芬表示他们的精神已经被完全摧毁，不再记得他们以前曾经的身份。

Richtofen: It would seem that the OSS realized that we captured one of their spies.They tried to send a rescue team to Verruickt that was aw--- the first batch of test subjects.
Richtofen: l suspect that there are others more in the organization.
Dr.Harvey Yena and Dr.Peter McCain to be precise.
Richtofen: Dr Ma--- doesn't any Americans in Group 935, no matter how much genius they have.
Stupid Americans with their apple pies and baseball and children, but I digress.
Richtofen: The new American test subject is interesting and muscle-y.His intellect seems low,
but his will is strong. Like the others, he doesn't seem to know who he is anymore.
Richtofen: Unlike the others, he keeps breaking the restraints and yelling at me.Test subject N3WBis still staring at the floor, muttering what sounds like some kind of proverb over and over again.
Richtofen: I think his mind may have been destroyed by the process.
Richtofen: Oh well, the Russian subject recently begun responding to stimuli, but only after injecting him with a new serum made primarily from vodka. Perhaps this is a breakthrough in the-

lt was he after all who suggested the vodka serum. Credit where credit is due.
Today also marks a great success for one of my side projects. Using a processed rock of Element 115 and the Vril Vessel, I was able to successfully siphon a piece of the souls of our three specimens and inject them into the rock.
Without access to our fourth individual, l used part of my own essence.Much to my surprise, the rock grew and transformed, creating a beautiful shard of glass made purely from Element 115.. and parts from four human souls.
The Vril Vessel, the Elemental Shard. All we need how is the Apothicon blood and the Agarthan Device
shall be complete. End log entry 1474 or should I say 1-4-7-4, doesn't matter.

看来战略情报局已经发现他们有一个间谍已经被我们抓住了。他们尝试派遣一个救援小队前往“疯狂”疗养院——第一批的实验品。
我怀疑在小组里面还有其他的间谍，精确地说，哈维·耶那博士和彼特·麦昆博士。
马---博士没有---任何美国成员在935小组中，无论他们的天资多么傲人。愚蠢的美国佬和他们的苹果派、棒球和小屁孩们..不过，我跑题了。
这个新来的美国实验品非常有趣，非常强壮。他的智商非常低，但是他的意志很强大。
就像其他人一样，他似乎已经不知道自己是谁了。
和其他人不一样的是，他不断地尝试解脱束缚并朝我大叫。N3WB实验品仍然是看着地板，不断地低声背诵着某种谚语之类的东西。
我想他的意识大概已经在过程中被摧毁了。...….哦对了，苏联试验品最近终于开始对刺激产生反应了。但那是在我们给他注射一剂新研制的主要由伏特加组成的试剂以后。这也许是我们一直在等待的实验中的突破。
也许我对于耶那博士太严格了，毕竟是他建议的伏特加血清，还是得归功于他的。
今天我的副项目之一也有了极大的成功，通过使用一块处理过的115元素矿石，以及生命能量容器，我成功地将我们三个实验对象的灵魂注入到了矿石内。
由于没有第四个个体可用，我使用了我自己的灵魂的部分样本。让我吃惊的是，那块矿石生长并被转变了，变成了一块像玻璃一样的美丽碎片，完全由115元素和四个人类的部分灵魂所组成。
现在我们已经有了生命能量容器，以及元素碎片。现在只需要阿伯赛康之血，阿冈莎装置就完成了。日志1474完毕，还是说应该读一四七四--没所谓了。
从这里我们得知，瑞奇托芬完成了元素碎片的制作,他通过使用115矿石以及三个实验品，也就是当时武雄、尼古莱和登浦西加上他自己的四个灵魂的部分样本，合成了元素碎片。但他也许不知道，创造这个元素碎片，可能带来更多他没有意识到的事端。
也就是从这一刻开始，他们不同宇宙世界四人和以太“绑定”在了一起。而这四个人也就是在此刻失去了灵魂。
这个绑定究竟是什么，往后我们再慢慢解释。

Yena: Doctor Maxis has ordered the Elemental Shard to be sent to Division 9, where they are better equipped
to study it appropriately. You are to cease experimentation on the test subjects and put them on ice.
Yena: You are to return with them to Der Riese and meet with Doctor Maxis.

Richtofen: My dedication? All of my projects, my programs, you think 'm not dedicated? You have taken everything from me. Well, I still have the DG-2 in active development. I suppose that's some
Yena: Actually, no. 'm afraid Doctor Maxis has cancelled its mass production as well.
Richtofen: Scheisse! This.….This is all your doing! You are intentionally sowing discontent!
You are trying to destroy us from within!
Richtofen: You... You're working for the Americans, aren't you? You are a spy, just like Doctor Peter McCain. Doctor Maxis would've never hired Americans, no matter how much genius they have!
Yena: No, Doctor Richtofen. That's your paranoia talking.You've been exposed to Element 115 for too long. 'm just a loyal servant to Group 935 trying to protect its interests. Now if you have any issues, I suggest bringing them up with Doctor Maxis.
Richtofen: Oh, oh, oh... don't you worry your little lying apple pie brain, Mr.Yena.
l intend to bring up a great many things with Doctor Maxis.
哈维·耶那:你没有留给我选择余地，瑞奇托芬博士。你利用935小组的资源来做自己的个人计划，你一直在威胁我们的雇员，包括我本人。而且你很明显正在受到过量115元素接触造成的幻觉影响。

耶那:马西斯博士已经要求将元素碎片送到第九师团，他们有更好的设备去对它进行合适的研究。你必须马上停止对实验对象的实验，并让他们进入休眠状态。

瑞奇托芬:我的专注程度?我的这么多计划，这么多实验，你觉得我还不够投入吗?
你将我的一切都抢走了......唉，至少我还有DG-2在积极研发中，还不算太坏。
耶那:其实，并不。我很遗憾地通知你马西斯博士也已经取消了它的大规模生产计划。
瑞奇托芬:该死!这，这都是你的蓄意所为!你故意地在我们之中播种分歧的种子!

耶那:不，瑞奇托芬博士，那是你的妄想症在发作。你已经暴露在115元素的影响下太久了。而我只是935小组的一个忠实贡献者，想要保护它的利益。现在，如果你还有任何问题，我建议你和马西斯博士去提。
瑞奇托芬:哦，哈哈....这不用你谎话连篇的小苹果派脑袋来担心，耶那先生，我有许多事情还要和马西斯博士商量。
在元素碎片实验完成后不久，哈维耶那向马西斯报告了瑞奇托芬的情况，瑞奇托芬被马西斯要求返回巨人工厂,并将元素碎片交出并转送给第九师团。哈维耶那也告知瑞奇托芬马西斯已经取消了大规模生产DG-2的计划，面对连续的打击，瑞奇托芬勃然大怒。
从后面开始，就是我们熟知的一系列变故的开端。
