故障描述

原因
流动相储液瓶中的流动相耗尽或流动相储液瓶中的溶剂不足,导致溶剂管路中进入了空气
解决方法
检查流动相储液瓶的所有溶剂管路。
确保流动相储液瓶已装满,足以完全浸没溶剂管路末端的过滤头/沉子。
如果使用缓冲液,请将管路置于 100% 水中。
灌注各管路 5 min,确保缓冲液被冲洗出来。
将所有溶剂管路放在 100% 甲醇中。
灌注所有溶剂管路 5-10 min,或者直至所有气泡消失。
以 100% 甲醇开启液流,并监测压力表以确认压力稳定。
切换为正在使用的流动相。
再次灌注各管路 5 min,以确保甲醇被冲洗出来。
开启液流并监测压力表,确认压力稳定。

SYMPTOMS
During flow, primary pump shows sporadic pressure drops
Pressure drops from 8000 psi to 0 psi, and then rises again
No flow from one or more solvent lines or pumps
May appear as if the pump is leaking

CAUSE
Air in the solvent lines as a result of empty mobile phase bottles, or there is not enough solvent in mobile phase bottle
FIX or WORKAROUND
Check the mobile phase bottles for all solvent lines.
Ensure that the mobile phase bottle is full enough to completely cover the filter/sinker at the end of the solvent line.
If buffer is used, place the lines in 100% water.
Prime each line for 5 minutes, to ensure that the buffer is washed out.
Place all solvent lines in 100% methanol.
Prime all solvent lines for 5-10 minutes, or until any air bubbles dissipate.
Start a flow with 100% methanol and monitor the pressure charts to confirm steady pressure.
Switch to the mobile phase in use.
Prime each line again for 5 minutes, to ensure that the methanol is washed out.
Start a flow and monitor the pressure charts to confirm steady pressure.

CAUSE
Salt buildup on the primary plunger and face seals
FIX or WORKAROUND
Remove the pump head and inspect for salt buildup.
Rinse the plunger and seals with water to remove salt, and then reinstall the pump head.
Replace the seals if necessary

Blockage in gradient proportioning valve (GPV).
Affects either A/B solvent lines or C/D solvent lines
When closing GPV from Acquity Console, some solvent is still flowing through the affected line
FIX or WORKAROUND
Replace the dual-channel GPV (700005161) for the affected solvent lines.
