She had been in a coma for three days. The unimaginable trauma and exhaustion caused her body to give way. Satyrn was never taken to a hospital, however. Amber had trained as a doctor among many other things. Each of those three days, her parents took care and looked after her. It was a better outcome than the worst they feared, at least. She could have never returned at all.
她昏迷了三天。难以想象的创伤和疲惫使她的身体垮掉了。然而，星填从未被送进医院。琥珀在很多方面都受过医生的训练。这三天中的每一天，她的父母都在一遍遍地照顾她。至少，这比他们担心的最坏的结果要好。她可能再也不会回来了。
When Satyrn woke up, all of Ponyville rejoiced. It was quite a cliche sight but it was appropriate. You know how it goes. You’ve seen the movies.

“Starshit ... what?” Satyrn asked

“Starship Ponyville.” Twilight corrected, chuckling. “I’ve been working closely with a team of scientists and engineers to explore space.”

Meeting Princess Twilight was something to cross off the bucket list I guess. Celestia and Luna had practically been grandparents to Satyrn, as Elden and Amber had to remain in close contact for their work anyway. In reality, Twilight had been occupied ever since the conception of Project Banshee.

“Why?” Satyrn questioned, confused as ever.

“To put it simply, we can’t survive in Equestria if we can’t sustain the population. We hope to colonize other places out there. We’ve developed terraforming technologies an-”

“I don’t need an infomercial … uh-d-uh-princess sorry-I mean” Satyrn tripped over her sarcasm.

Twilight laughed and walked with Satyrn around the castle. The hall was enormous with colourful scenes painted along the walls. Satyrn couldn’t keep her eyes off of the marble floor which reflected her likeness back to her with unparalleled clarity (unless you compare it to a mirror or something that was meant to clearly reflect an image).
暮光笑着和星填一起在城堡里走来走去。大厅很大，四周的墙壁上画着五颜六色的场景。星填始终无法将目光从大理石地板上移开，大理石地板以无与伦比的清晰度将她的肖像反射到她的身上(除非你把它比作一面镜子或什么本来就是要清晰地反射图像的东西)。
“So.. why are you telling me this?” Satyrn continued to question.

“We want you to come with us.”

“What?”

“You’re a born leader. Stubborn and reckless, but a born leader.” Twilight mused.

Satyrn thought about various ways to protest the princess’s’ statement but remained quiet. Twilight continued.
星填想了很多方法来抗议公主的声明，但还是保持沉默。暮光的继续。
“Luna has watched you ever since the day you came here. She insisted you would be valuable.”
“从你来这儿的那天起，露娜就一直在观察你。她坚持认为你很有价值。”
Satyrn wasn’t sure what to think.

“How could she have known that?”
“她怎么会知道呢?”
“Well..” started Twilight “she can read thoughts and dreams; see things that nopony else can.”

A moment of clarity quickly turned to embarrassment. Satyrn’s cheeks reddened.
一时的清醒很快变成了尴尬。星填脸颊发红了。
“I feel like that’s a bit invasive..?” the pegasus stuttered. “H-how much does she know about me?”
“我觉得这有点侵犯他人……?”飞马结结巴巴地说。“她对我知道多少?”
“Probably more than you know about yourself.” Twilight put it plainly.
“可能比你自己知道的还要多。”暮光说得很清楚。
“Oh yeah? What has she told you, then..?” Satyrn was nervous
“哦,是吗?那么，她对你说了些什么呢?” 星填很紧张
Twilight perked up a little.
暮光精神起来了
“OH! Well, obviously she told me you have some sorta cool fiery spirit … kinda deal going on
“哦!嗯，显然她告诉我你有一种冷酷的热情……有点火气。”
“Uh-huh.”
嗯。”
“That even from a young age, your mind was structured quite uniquely. Not quite sure what that actually means but-.”

“I mean-well. Yeah-”
“我猜，额。是的- - - - - -”
“OH YEAH! She also told me that you’re not into stallions.”

“Wait, okay that’s a little too private-”

“I kinda figured you were gay.”

“OK TWILIGHT I THINK I GET IT-”

Satyrn vowed never to trust Twilight with writing a biography about her.

A few months passed. After Satyrn agreed to volunteer for the mission, Twilight continued to fill Satyrn in on the details of their mission in space. Occasionally, Satyrn thought about her encounter with Satellite. Many questions remained unanswered about Statera. What did Satellite hope to accomplish? What were those creatures that were watching the battle? Nopony offered anything other than speculation.
几个月过去了。在星填同意自愿参与这项任务后，暮光继续向萨提恩透露他们太空任务的细节。偶尔，星填会想起她与卫星的相遇。关于平等城还有许多问题没有回答。卫星计划实现什么目标?那些观看战斗的生物是什么?她除了猜测什么都没说。
They day eventually came. Elden and Amber hugged Satyrn once more. It was hard enough letting their daughter go for the millionth time. But this time was different. Satyrn had a real mission to fulfill. What excited her the most about it all was the thought of belonging somewhere. Growing up, to her, meant facing new challenges. She had learned this about herself after finding love in an actual family. Satyrn fought for it. Now she wanted to fight for something bigger. Despite this, there would be no applause nor would there be medals or certificates. The ponies of Equestria cannot appreciate what they fear. To the Starship Ponyville team, however, satisfaction would come knowing that nopony could stop them.
这一天终于到来了。艾尔登和琥珀再次拥抱了星填。第一百万次让他们的女儿走已经够难受的了。但这一次不同。星填有个真正的任务要完成。最让她兴奋的是，她想到自己能在某个地方找到归属感。对她来说，成长意味着面对新的挑战。在一个真正的家庭里找到了真爱之后，她对自己有了这样的认识。星填为之奋斗。现在她想为更大的目标而奋斗。尽管如此，不会有掌声，也不会有奖章或证书。小马国的小马无法体会它们的恐惧。然而，对于星舰小马镇的团队来说，知道没有小马能阻止他们，他们就会感到满足。
It was hard saying goodbye, but Satyrn knew it wouldn’t be forever … or some cliche shit like that. I’m just trying to tell you how it went.

Satyrn was led into a large cavern beneath Ponyville. The walls were lined with various machines and devices. Large desks were scattered around the room, piled with papers and blueprints. To the left there must’ve been thousands of seats, lined closely in rows facing an enormous screen. It was like a theater. At the center of the cavern stood nearly 5,000 ponies, all conversing quietly with each other waiting for what was to come. They made up the majority of the team. There were scientists and engineers; soldiers and pilots; mares and stallions; young and old. Metallic whirs and drones echoed through the chamber, drowning out the hushed conversations of the crew. Satyrn stood anxiously outside the crowd until Twilight joined her.
星填被带进了小马城下面的一个大洞穴。墙上排列着各种机器和设备。大桌子散落在房间各处，上面堆满了文件和蓝图。左边一定有成千上万个座位，排得整整齐齐，面对着一个巨大的屏幕。这就像一个剧院。在洞穴的中央，站着近5000匹小马，它们在安静地交谈着，等待着即将发生的事情。他们组成了这个队的大多数。有科学家和工程师;士兵和飞行员;母马和公马;青年和老者。金属的嗡嗡声和无人机在舱内回响，淹没了机组人员安静的谈话。星填焦急地站在马群外面，直到暮色来到她身边。
“Are you ready?” the princess asked.

“Yes and no. I’m really nervous I guess..” replied Satyrn.

Twilight chuckled subtly and quietly led Satyrn around the crowd to a door on the opposite side of the room.
暮光轻声地笑着，带着星填绕过人群，来到房间对面的一扇门前。
“Let’s go, captain” Twilight addressed Satyrn with a smile.

Satyrn grinned a little.
星填微微一笑。
Slowly, the crowd joined them, seemingly on instinct. Collectively they all gathered into a smaller room. It was pitch black. It wasn’t long until everypony had filed into the room and the door slammed shut.
人群慢慢地加入了他们，似乎是出于本能。他们都聚集在一个小房间里。漆黑一片。不一会儿，所有的小马都鱼贯而入，门砰的一声关上了。
Satyrn felt an odd tingling sensation as the room began to shake. Twilight put her arm around her in assurance. The shaking became more violent. Satyrn thought again about her parents and how much she would miss being with them. A tear burned her eye.
当房间开始摇晃时，星填感到一种奇怪的刺痛感。暮光自信地用手臂搂着她。摇晃变得更加剧烈。星填又想起了她的父母，她会多么想念和他们在一起的日子。一滴眼泪灼痛了她的眼睛。
The shaking stopped.
摇晃停止了。
Now it was cold.
