状语从句主要分为以下几种类型：

1.时间状语从句：表示动作或状态发生的时间，常用的引导词有when,while, as,before, after, since, until, as soon as等。

2.地点状语从句：表示动作发生的地点，通常由where等词引导。

3.原因状语从句：表示动作发生的原因或理由，引导词有because,since,as等。

4.结果状语从句：表示动作的结果，通常由so....hat, such...that等词引导。

5.目的状语从句：表示动作的目的或意图，引导词有so that, in order that等。

6.条件状语从句：表示动作发生的条件或假设，引导词有if, unless等。

7.让步状语从句：表示尽管有某种情况，但仍然发生另一种情况，常用的引导词有though, although, even if等。

8.方式状语从句：表示动作进行的方式或状态，引导词有as if, as though等。

9.比较状语从句：表示与另一事物进行比较，引导词有than, as..as等。

I was about to sleep when I remembered the meeting.我正要睡觉，突然想起了会议。

As soon as I entered the house, I knew something was wrong.我一进屋，就知道出了什么问题。

It was some time before the door opened in response to his pounding.敲了一会儿门后，门才打开。

Tired of the endless complaints ,I walked out of the room before she couldopen her mouth.厌倦了无尽的抱怨，我在她开口之前就离开了房间。

方式状语从句

He jumped back as if he had been stung, and the blood rushed into his wrinkled face.他往后跳了一步，就好像被蜇了一样，血液涌入他皱纹深处的脸上。

条件状语从句
