【合同索赔】要求调查隐蔽工程质量缺陷反索赔Search for the causes of defects

在FIDIC条款中，业主有权要求对隐蔽工程进行复合质量，若发现质量缺陷，需要承包商返工以及承担对应的检测费用，如没有质量问题，承包商可向业主进行费用索赔。

Further to your instruction dated    requesting us to search for the causes for the defects noted in the works, we are writing to confirm that this has been done and we have to advise as follows:

The search and investigation, under the directions of the Engineer, have shown that the defects reported to us are attributed neither to poor workmanship nor the use of defective materials in the works. Therefore, we request that the costs which we have incurred for such search be reimbursed to us.
