TRICONEX系统，完全遵循IEC61508/61511标准，采用当今最先进的TMR微处理器硬件技术，和成熟可靠的TRISTATION 1131软件的三重化冗余容错控制系统。系统高可靠性和高利用率，被广泛应用于石化、炼油、石油天然气、化工、电力、轨道交通、航天、核工业等行业，在装置安全联锁系统ESD、蒸汽透平控制、燃汽透平控制、压缩机防喘振控制、海上石油平台、火气监测保护（F&G）、等方面有广泛的业绩。
TRICONEX系统最大的特点是能同时满足高可靠性、高可用性的容错控制能力。为保证系统的高可靠性和高可用性，控制器、I/O模块、通讯均采用三重化设计。控制系统可以识别控制系统元件的故障，自动把故障的元件加以排除，并允许在继续完成指定任务的同时，对故障元件进行在线修复而不中断过程的操作。任何故障及相关数据被存储在NVRAM中，在I/O模块中任一通道故障，系统保证该模块能维持运行1500小时，仍能满足TUV AK6级。

The control system can identify faults in control system components, automatically eliminate faulty components, and allow online repair of faulty components without interrupting the process while continuing to complete specified tasks.
