Children have milder symptoms of COVID-19 infection and are often asymptomatic compared to adults. What about infants? Are they at much less risk of infection and complications? 

儿童新冠病毒感染（COVID-19）症状较轻，与成人相比通常是无症状的。婴儿如何？他们感染和出现合并症风险是否较低？

Answer 答案：

Infants are 1.2% of the US population but make up 15% of pediatric COVID-19 cases and 0.3% of all COVID-19 patients. Current data suggest that infants < 12 months are at greater risk of critical disease than older children。 

婴儿占美国人口的1.2%，却占儿童COVID-19病例的15%和所有COVID-19患者的0.3%。 现在数据提示小于12个月的婴儿比较大儿童具有出现危重疾病的更大风险。
