第十四节 宾 语

其他句子成分,在中学阶段已经讲得比较详细,不再赘述。这里主要讨论与动词有

关的宾语结构。

14.1 宾 语 后 置

现代汉语中宾语后置现象较少,而英语中宾语后置现象比较常见,这就给英语

学习者带来理解与翻译上的困难。本文列举英语中一些宾语后置的句型,以期引起

对这类句型的关注,并能够熟练使用这种结构。

1. make public his talent(宾语). 彰显才华。

2. The addition of other units makes possible the extension of the list of possible

course objectives(宾语), as desired.

正如设想的那样,通过添加其它的单元,使这些可能的课程目标变成现实。

4. Apart from tightening the management of companies, it is even more important to

bring home to county leaders the awareness that the best way to gain promotion

is to do a good job in promoting local economic growth and improving the living

5. corner n 拐角

a. try to cut corners. 试图走捷径。

b. someone in Roosevelt's corner. 一个在罗斯福的庇护下。
