Yu Gong Removed the Mountains is a fable story of the ancient China. It's selected from Liezi Tangwen by the imperial aggressors of the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.

《愚公移山》是中国古代寓言故事，选自《列子汤问》，作者是春秋战国的列御寇。

Yu Gong Removed the Mountains tells the story of Yu Gong who never fears hardships, perseveres, digs mountains and finally moves the mountains away by touching the Emperor of Heaven.

《愚公移山》讲述了愚公不畏艰难，坚持不懈，挖山不止，最终感动天帝而将山挪走的故事。

Hello, everybody! My name's Zhou Yufei. I'm from Class 1, Grade 3. I love reading stories. Today, I'll tell you a Chinese story— Yu Gong Removed the Mountains.

大家好！我叫周誉霏，来自三一班。我爱读故事，今天我给大家带来一个中国故事—《愚公移山》。

Once upon a time ,there were two mountains in front of Yu Gong's house,Taihang Mountain and Wangwu Mountain.

He decided to move them away. A wise old man laughed at him for being too foolish. Yu Gong said,‘I have sons,my sons have grandchildren. So generation after generation ,there's no end.All of us can continue the work. But the mountains can't grow higher. Afterwards,he moved the Emperor of Heaven, so the Emperor ordered two gods to move the mountains away.

愚公家门前有两座大山(太行山和王屋山)。他决心把山移走。一个“聪明”的智叟笑他太傻。愚公说：“我有儿子，儿子有孙子，子子孙孙无穷无尽的。我们都能坚持这件事，但是山是不会再升高的。”后来，他感动了天帝，所以天帝命两位神仙搬走了大山。
