「写作题库更新」4道新题的详细思路
时间荏苒，不知不觉已经快过去一年了，ETS又又又更新它的题库啦。
不过这次更新幅度不大，Issue新增3道题目，Argument新增1题。大家不要慌张，下面我们来梳理一下这些新题的思路吧。
【Issue篇】

Some people believe that it is helpful to view a challenging situation as an opportunity for personal growth. Others believe that reimagining challenging situations this way occupies too much of the focus one needs to face challenges effectively.
Write a response in which you discuss which view more closely aligns with your own position and explain your reasoning for the position you take. In developing and supporting your position, you should address both of the views presented.
题目内容：调整到底是可以促进人们成长，还是会影响人们的成长
公式匹配：N对M有影响
N：challenging situations
M：personal growth
人们的成长可以是学到知识，提升能力，做个更好的自己（学习、能力、做人），这种拆分有没有唤起大家的回忆？
具体思路就是我们分三段讨论，挑战对人们的学习，能力，做人是有积极影响还是消极影响。

题目内容：旅行还是长期居住在一个地方可以提升我们的社交能力
公式匹配：N对M有影响
遇到这种公式，我们两种处理方式，要么对M的内容进行拆分，要么对M的形成调整进行拆分。
这道题不好对内容进行拆分，所以我们选择对社交能力的形成条件进行拆分，比如共同话题，交流平台等等。
这么一来，others的观点更好写。
1.常住一个地方让我们对这个地方有很深的了解，可以和周围的人进行多方面的交流，涉及教育、医疗、文化等等各个方面
2.此外，如果我们对一个地方很了解，我们就有很多机会加入当地的社团，丰富了我们和他人沟通的媒介
3.最后让步一段，旅游也是有好处的，比如放松心情。但是由于旅游停留的时间短，对当地的了解不够深刻，所以还是常住一个地方好处更多。

Claim: Young people's tendency to make extensive use of portable devices like smartphones and tablets has hurt their development of social skills.
Reason: These devices encourage users to form artificial personalities and relationships online rather than fully and honestly engaging with the people around them.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the claim and the reason on which that claim is based.
题目内容：移动设备对年轻人的社交能力到底是有积极影响还是消极影响
公式匹配：N对M有影响
N：portable device
M：young people’s social skills
和上一道题目很像，依然是对social skills形成的条件进行拆分，比如 portable devices可以创造更多的共同话题，更多的交流媒介和途径。
大纲如下
1.Portable devices丰富了年轻人的交流话题—这些设备可以时事更新话题，丰富人们之间的谈论话题
2.同时，这些设备还可以提供更便捷的交流方式，让年轻人有更多的交流机会来提升自己的社交能力
3.针对reason，正是因为不用见面，人们没有心理负担，更愿意聊天，进一步提升自己的社交能力，扩大自己的交际范围
【Argument篇】
The following memorandum is from the president of Primo Doll Manufacturing, Inc.
"According to a survey last year of parents who purchased the Elkie, our most popular doll, 90 percent reported that although their children were extremely satisfied with the doll's features, the doll quickly wore out with use. In a follow-up survey of the same parents, 80 percent reported that they would recommend a more durable version of the doll to their friends. In response to these surveys, we have created the Elkie-Advanced Doll, which has similar features to the original Elkie Doll but is manufactured using the same higher quality materials used by Optima Doll Manufacturing, our most successful competitor. Because parents can now purchase the beloved Elkie doll and be sure that it won't quickly wear out with use, we predict that our profits will exceed those of Optima Doll Manufacturing this year."
Write a response in which you discuss what questions would need to be answered in order to decide whether the prediction and the argument on which it is based are reasonable. Be sure to explain how the answers to these questions would help to evaluate the prediction.
1.第一个调查： 问了多少人，问了什么人。
2.第二个调查：80% 是多少人（因为是问了同样的一批人，这两个调查可以合并攻击）。
3.类比错误：Elkie和Optima没什么可比性，就算用了Optima的材料，也不代表Elkie会比Optima更受欢迎，因为Optima可能会有更好的宣传，包装等等。
4.就算Elkie变的更受欢迎了，也不代表它的利润会更多，因为cost会增加很多。比如材料啊，人工，等等。
同学们发现没有，issue的题不管怎么变，都可以通过套用公式来出思路；
同理，argument新增的这道题里的逻辑错误也都在我们总结好的种类里面。
所以，只要掌握好GRE写作的根本方法，考场上即便是遇到新题目也不怕。
