影像学检查报告单病例中的“平扫”/“增强”怎么翻译?

　　医疗翻译中我们会遇到患者病例或影像学检查报告单里出现“平扫”二字，但是机器翻译引擎很多都翻译的是 plain scan。那病例中的“平扫”“增强”应该怎么翻译?

　　但 plain scan 可不可以用来对应“平扫”呢?

　　plain 的英文解释为：

　　not decorated or complicated; simple(牛津高阶)

　　Something that is plain is very simple in style. (柯林斯)

　　感觉就表示“简单的扫描”之意，从这个层面上可以表示“平扫”。

　　而且要注意 CT scan 和 x-rays 是不一样的哦~

　　如 Health Images所述，虽然两种检查都用了同一种技术手段，即电离辐射(ionizing radiation)，但是 x-rays 只能生成二维图像，而 CT scan 可以生成三维图像。

　　CT scans use the same imaging method as x-rays — ionizing radiation — but can capture images x-rays cannot. An x-ray captures a two-dimensional picture of a structure inside the body, such as a person’s bones. A CT scan produces a three-dimensional image.

　　CT扫描一般有两种，一种是不使用造影剂(contrast) 的“平扫”，另一种则是使用造影剂的“增强”，静脉注射造影剂(一般是碘造影剂，iodinated contrast media/agent)后，可以看到血流的变化，能够比平扫看到更多东西。

　　母语人士怎么说?

　　许多机构的网站在介绍“平扫”和“增强”的不同时，也没有采用 plain scan 这个术语，更多是用下面几种方式来介绍两者：

　　CT平扫 CT增强

　　CT scan without contrast CT scan with contrast

　　non-contrast enhanced CT contrast-enhanced CT

　　那再看看国外的影像学检查报告或论文里是怎么写的呢?

　　然后还查到某医疗机构影像学检查申请表[6]中，使用了以下表述来指明是否使用造影剂：

　　W/O Contrast(无需造影剂)

　　With Contrast(需要造影剂)

　　W/WO Contrast(非必需造影剂)

　　Allergy to contrast(对造影剂过敏)

　　由此可见，母语人士在书写检查报告和论文时，更多还是使用的 CT with/without (i.v.) contrast (administration) 的方式来表示“CT平扫”和“CT增强”的概念。
