今天又把复仇者联盟4看了一下，又看到了这一句：No amount of money ever bought a second of time.

再多的钱也买不回时间。

no amount of…

再大（或再多）的…（也不）…

a second of time 一秒钟的时间

合在一起就是再多的钱也买不回时间，也就是我们所说的“寸金难买寸光阴”。

这个句型在美剧中用的还是满多的。

这个句型稍微改变了一下，前面是个there be句型，后面that would ever make me change the way I do my job是that引导的定语从句，这个定语从句中还含有一个定语从句I do my job修饰前面的the way.
