业主要求赶工，承包商发信函要求补偿

经常在项目执行过程中，会遇到业主要求赶工的情况，但是赶工的原因如果不是我方造成的，是由于天气、业主、航运等等一些外方因素造成的延迟，我方有理由不用理会业主的赶工要求，如果确实需要赶工，就需要给业主进行协商费用的补偿，下面看具体信函的写作：

Sub: Construction Acceleration

Further  to our notice of delay dated     and your letter of     in reply, we note that your letter purports to instruct us to take steps, following the cessation of the current exceptionally adverse weather conditions, to accelerate so as to make up lost time.

We would respectfully point out to you that the contract does not empower you so to instruct us and we are not prepared to take any such steps except with express agreement of the Employer to reimburse us for additional costs involved plus a reasonable allowance for our overheads and profit. Such an agreement would, of course, be supplementary to the Contract and its terms will be negotiated with the Employer to whom we are sending a copy of this letter.
