女生日记《小马俱乐部历险记》中英双语版·20
3月20日，星期三 【本书六月一日位居亚马逊儿童文学图书第二名】
今天，爸爸在镇上的五金器材与饲料店里看见了一则广告，广告里说有人正在寻找地方寄养两匹马儿，于是就记下了那上面的电话号码好联系事主。
结果呢，是一位女士要来寄养，她有一匹高头大马，还有一匹威尔士山地小型马。小马是她女儿的，她女儿和我同龄，刚满10岁，我年底就满10岁，可以说年龄非常相当！
爸爸说她们明天下午过来，想先看一看场地；如果谈成了，就把那两匹马儿放养在门前的围场里。这样，那个场地到底还是派上了用场。
我好兴奋——居然还会有另一个和我年龄差不多的伙伴！最近好长一段时间，我都没见到其他女孩了；所以，要是有另一个女孩和我一道骑马，我当然很高兴啦。
我很好奇，那女孩是什么样的人呢？她们的马儿又是什么样的呢？爸爸并没有多问，我也只好等着，等到明天放学回来再说。我搜索了一些威尔士山地小型马的图片，因为我还不知道那种马长什么样呢。图片里那些马儿非常可爱。那么，她的马儿呢？( 文章阅读网：www.sanwen.net )

Dad was at the hardware and stock feeds store in town today and saw an ad on the noticeboard. Someone is looking for a place to agist their 2 horses and he took their phone number so he could call them.
Anyway, it turns out that it’s a lady who has a horse and also a little Welsh Mountain pony. The pony belongs to her daughter who’s the same age as me. Well, she’s just turned 10 and I’ll be 10 at the end of the year, so it’s close enough!
Dad said that they’re coming over tomorrow afternoon to meet us and have a look. If it works out, he’s planning for them to keep their horses in our front paddock. That way, the paddock will get used after all.
I’m excited because it’s someone else who’s around my age. And I haven’t been seeing any of the girls much lately. So it would be so nice to have someone else to ride with.
I wonder what she’s like and what their horses are like? Dad didn’t really ask, so now I have to wait until I get home from school tomorrow. I searched for some photos of Welsh Mountain ponies because I didn’t know what they look like. They’re very cute. I wonder what hers is like?
I can’t wait to meet them!
