 be / get caught up in sth    被卷入某事,陷入某事(尤指坏事)

eg:Exactly which Russian firms/ could be caught up in/ the latest American sanctions is unclear.  

2.Some get into trouble for being out of step with the Communist Party.

in / out of step (with sb/sth)   (和某人)步伐一致(或不一致)

eg:Now the education and training industry is in step with China's policy. 

现在,教培行业符合国家的政策要求。

 Communist: a member of a Communist Party 共产党党员

3.Little wonder, then, that many Chinese firms are choosing to work with "virtual idols"instead of the human kind. 

(It's) no / little / small wonder (that)...    ...“并不奇怪,不足为奇”

eg:Little wonder that investors are taking flight. 难怪投资者都在逃离。
