Stage 1 is lived with happy, mostly intact memories. Not a lot of effort is being made to remember, and some memories will be distant due to this. The memory loss begins here.

The beginning of Stage 2 is marked by unease and a notice to the fact that they're forgetting, this stage also marks the beginning of a noticeable decline, family members and physicians may begin to take notice. Memories will be forcibly present, and may be more distorted, with less repetition, this struggle ultimately resulting in failure.

Stage 3 begins a steeper decline, memories fade away, some being tangled. Some moments are perfectly clear, others will be confused, others will be empty. These are the last fully coherent memories as post awareness fades in.

Post Awareness Stage 4 opens the flood gates separating memories and begins the process of bringing memories to a fluid state. Confusion, horror, serenity and decay all become fluid and one.

Post Awareness Stage 5 entanglements and neuron death. Further degradation of fluid memories, memories buried under one another. Eventually we reach a heavily regressed state. These are the last grasping memories before Post Awareness Stage 6.
