特点和重点：偏向于流行音乐方面的作曲编曲，很多学生的唱歌基础很不错，在软件的学习上不会太过强求，更偏向于音乐创作性，研究的很多方面也是现代流行音乐方面的风格、创作方式等。

Submit a portfolio of:

Recordings of and lyrics and lead sheets to three (3) songs to which you have significantly contributed (the quality of the recording and/or performance is unimportant). Please provide literal translations of any lyrics written in a language other than English

A statement of the nature and degree of your contribution to each song (songs that are the product of collaboration are acceptable)

Two (2) written or printed scores of arrangements you have created of your work, or that of others, for varied instrumentation (arrangements of your songs, as long as they are for instrumentation other than traditional pop arrangements, are acceptable. MIDI arrangements are acceptable. Recordings may be included, but they may not replace written or printed scores)

A video of you demonstrating your competence on an instrument (for example, keyboard or guitar)

专业介绍：学生将要学习录音、音乐制作、现场声音、电子音乐、信号处理、沉浸式音频、AR/VR技术、音乐认知、音乐信息学等领域的高级技能。需要学生在音乐技术领域中拥有良好的基础，通过与音乐表演和作曲专业的学生合作，尝试在实验性音乐与传统音乐之间建立联系。

特点和重点：学习的东西比较全面，毕业之后就业范围比较广泛，比如说可以从事录音、混音、流行歌曲创作方面、偏古典音乐制作方面等方面的工作，在软件的学习方面也是最深入最精进的。招收的很多学生大多是计算机专业毕业的，此外想要学习电子音乐、声音设计的学生，也是可以考虑申请这个专业的。

You are required to provide a portfolio of samples of previous professional, artistic, or academic work on music, technology, and related fields. Examples include, but are not limited to: school papers, scientific publications (8 pages maximum), webpages or audiovisual materials of work you have composed, performed, recorded, mixed, and/or produced.

You should make your portfolio work samples available online (as streamed media via a reliable service like SoundCloud or Vimeo or a portfolio website that you have created), which we ask you to include links to in the Portfolio section of your graduate application. Additionally, create a document that lists passwords, if needed, and descriptions for up to 3 works you would like the Admissions Committee to review as part of your application. Upload this document to the Portfolio section of your graduate application.

专业介绍：学生在发展音乐制作、音乐编辑、混音和工程学技能的同时，重点掌握配乐方面的内容。学生将接受密集的专业培训，将实践、理论和对行业的理解结合在一起，并有机会与知名的专业人士紧密合作，你将在多个配乐项目中做协助工作，通过录音创建自己的作品集，并从各种各样的专业人员那里获得大师班培训。

特点和重点：相对来说，作曲方面的知识要学的最为深入，招收的很多学生都是原本学古典作曲的，对于音乐理论知识的要求也是最高的。毕业生从事的方向比较明确，基本都在为影视剧、游戏、娱乐节目等做配乐工作。比起前两个专业，在古典方面所需的知识和经验也要更高。

You are required to submit:

Three or four compositions in which you were the original composer and orchestrator, both as audio recordings and scores.

A video of yourself, no longer than two minutes, discussing your musical and personal background, and your goals if accepted into the program. Do not score or add background music to this video.

In addition, you have the option to submit up to three movie clips you’ve scored, each up to three minutes long, or a video compilation reel no longer than three minutes. Video clips need not be from productions for which you were the original composer; you may submit video that you have re-scored.
