Some people say that there is nothing that older people can learn from young  

people.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is acknowledged believed by some people that the old could cannot acquire  

anything knowledge from the young. By the understanding of the nature of  

learning and society, from my perspective, I determinedly disagree with this  

idea.

The group supporting the idea suggests that the level of knowledge and  

education possessed by elderly people is averagely higher than youths on  

average. With more experiences of in life, older people might have a greater  

probability of overcoming setbacks smoothly and strongly. Rather than

life, the elder always acts as the educator of the young to shape their values

toward the world.

But However, that idea could immediately break down by the curtesy of the is

As the expected major contributors to the nation, youngsters receive a  

relatively different higher education and get science and practical training,

enable enabling them to combat the challenges that the old suppose they  

could not. It means that the ideologies and philosophies acquiring acquired by  

youngsters in their practices can also be recognized as a kind of resource for  

thinking and learning.

Meanwhile, considering their lower awareness and acceptance of accessing to  

edgy new trends and technology, older people might have trouble with  

understanding what is currently happening around them. Therefore, the  

young, who are greatly exposed to emerging things, owns have the ability to  

assist with explaining the issues that puzzles of the old, keep upon them up to

date on the newtrends and even being make them aware that it this is what

help that they should not refuse. Introducing the most For example,

enrich their life and knowledge.

experience about in life, they could can also absorb something meaningful

According to some, older people don't have anything to learn from young  

people. However, I firmly disagree with this idea.

Proponents of the idea that young people have nothing to teach elderly people  

argue that older people have more life experience. As they have been alive

longer, they have been confronted by and overcome many of the challenges  

experienced throughout life. For example, elderly people tend to be  

comfortable voicing their concerns if they are being mistreated, whereas  

young people are more likely to say nothing.

However, this concept isn't just about life experience. One thing that older  

people can learn from younger people is how to use modern technology. On  

the whole, young people are more interested in modern gadgets, so when  

elderly people need to use one of these devices, they often ask young family  

members for support. This can typically be seen when the older person is  

required to use an unfamiliar piece of software such as a banking app.

Another thing that elderly people can learn from younger ones is what  

language is acceptable in modern society. For instance, some language that  

was acceptable 50 years ago is no longer suitable to use in polite conversation.  

Evidence of this is often seen at family gatherings when the younger  

generation informs the older generation that the words they are using are no  

longer acceptable.

In conclusion, even though elderly people have more life experience, they can  

still learn how to use certain types of modern technology from young people,  

as well as what words are not acceptable in modern society.
