临近年关，疫情防控不能掉以轻心，口罩用英文怎么说？

最近全国各地，疫情又爆发，先有西安，后有天津，再有深圳，面对依然很严峻的全球疫情防控，我们需要做什么呢？“不能放松，要时刻关注社区的防控措施和建立群体免疫。”钟南山强调，在人多、通气差的密集场所一定要戴好口罩。

官方认证比较有效隔绝病毒的口罩有两种：

一种是N95口罩

另一种是外科医用口罩

一、对于学英语的人，那口罩用英语该怎么说呢？

01.N95口罩

N95 mask / respirator

respirator/respretr/ n. 防毒面具；人工呼吸机；口罩

N代表Not resistant to oil （非耐油），可用于防护非油性悬浮微颗粒

95代表“能够过滤95%或者以上的直径大于0.3微米的颗粒”

02.外科医用口罩

surgical mask

surgical /srdkl/ adj. 外科的；外科手术的

大多都为一次性，不需要清洗，使用也比较方便，相较于民用口罩，对呼吸道疾病的防护作用更加明显。

当然在意境明确的情况下使用 mask 是没有问题的，比如说明星走机场经常戴着口罩，就可以说 stars always wear masks at the airport.

除了这两种，还有其它一些常见的口罩，比如：活性炭口罩（activated carbon mask）和 棉布口罩（cotton mask）。

一次性口罩：disposable [dɪˈspoʊzəbl] mask

纱布口罩：gauze [ɡɔːz] mask

03.还有一个容易搞混的词是 face mask,很多人都以为是口罩，虽然face mask有口罩的意思，但最常见的意思其实是面膜。

比如说睡前敷一张面膜就可以说：apply a face mask before going to sleep。

二、戴口罩用英文又该怎么说呢？

01 强调"戴口罩"的状态：wear

He always wears a mask these days.

他最近都戴着口罩

Do you know how to  wear a mask properly ?

Clean your hands with soap and water before touching the mask.

接触口罩前，用肥皂水把手洗干净。

Check  which side of the mask is the top. The side that has a stiff edge is the top.

检查一下哪边是上面。有硬条的那边是上面.

Then bend it to the shape of your nose.

然后把它捏成鼻子的形状.

Usually, the white side should touches your face.

通常，白色的朝里。
