买门将并非长期方案
爱德华-门迪在效力切尔西三个赛季后，已经转站沙特赛场。下个赛季，凯帕将成为波切蒂诺麾下的主力门将。门将这个话题，也是今夏转会窗的一个热点。
最近几个月，许多门将都和切尔西传出了转会新闻，意在成为未来蓝军的主力门将。包括但不限于：布莱顿的桑切斯、布伦特福德的拉亚、葡萄牙国门迪奥戈-科斯塔、国米门将奥纳纳，甚至还有著名的德赫亚。甚至大卫·德赫亚都出人意料地成为夏天提到的众多名字之一。尽管如此，我觉得球队更适合从内部挖潜来缓解门将的问题，并且把省下来的资金用于其他亟待补充的位置上。
自从库尔图瓦在18年离队，球队尚未找到一名地位足够稳固，能够连续几个赛季担任主力门将的球员。一开始，凯帕从毕尔巴鄂竞技以8000万欧元的价格加盟，球队希望凯帕成为长期的主力门将。但是，凯帕的成长之路并不顺利，特别是19-20赛季，凯帕的表现低迷，同时，自信心的缺失也让他被球迷和媒体指责。此后，门迪的加盟让凯帕的主力位置面临更严峻的挑战。虽然球迷一度以为门迪可以解决主力门将之争，但是脚下技术的粗糙和时不时的伤病困扰又让问题复杂化。这也是球队管理层需要去考虑的问题。
话虽如此，但是如果急急忙忙去市场上签下一名新的门将，在我看来也是不合理的，因为这时候的引援无助于解决长期问题。球队有必要培养和发展队内的年轻门将，也许把他们租借去斯特拉斯堡，为他们提供成长路径，让他们充分去发展自己，同时也在法甲联赛中获得经验。像美国门将斯洛尼纳、卢卡斯·伯格斯特罗姆、泰德·库德甚至萨米·特莱姆卡尼这样的球员都是已经崭露头角的年轻门将，如果在法国得到足够的培养，那么完全有机会竞争主力门将的位置。
无论最后的决定是什么，球队都需要立足长远，而非随便找个短期主力门将应付了事。门将引援上的一大忌讳，便是匆忙找一个难以达到球队预期的门将，以致于后患无穷。

With Edouard Mendy set to leave Chelsea after three seasons and Kepa Arrizzabalaga set to become Poch’s number one in goal, the goalkeeping position at the club is one for major transfer talk in the summer so far.
Many goalkeepers have been linked in recent months regards to becoming the main keeper for the season to come from Brighton’s Robert Sanchez to Brentford’s David Raya, Diogo Costa, Andre Onana and even David De Gea has surprisingly been one of the host of names mentioned that could be one in for the summer. Despite all of this, I believe that Chelsea should invest from within in regard to the goalkeeping position if they are going to save money from the transfer budget that could be used to strengthen other areas of the team.
Since the departure of Thibaut Courtois back in 2018, the club hasn’t found a keeper that couldn’t cement their status at the club or have the authority needed to be the number keeper at the club for seasons to come. Whilst Kepa was brought in to be the long-term replacement for Courtois having been signed out of his buyout clause from Athletic Bilbao for £71.6m, he has struggled to be the consistent keeper, especially after his second season at the club where his performances and confidence have come to scrutiny by fans and the media. His status at the club has come under threat in recent seasons with the arrival of Edouard Mendy three seasons ago and although people thought he will be the one to solve the goalkeeping situation at the club, his inability to play out of the back with his feet and subsequent injuries throughout last season have put the club back to square one and that is something that the club owners would need to rectify moving forward.
Having said that, signing a goalkeeper in the transfer market although unreasonable having stated the issues the current keepers have had at the club, in my opinion signing another keeper would not fix the issues in the long-term. The club should develop young and up-coming keepers that are already at the club and should capitalise on the new and established relationship the club has now with RC Strasbourg to help create a pathway for the goalkeepers at the club to go and develop themselves whilst also getting the experience at a league with a good standard. Players like Gabriel Slonina, Lucas Bergstrom, Ted Curd or even Sami Tlemcani are examples of talented young keepers already at the club that could be nurtured effectively and perhaps be the ones that could take that number one spot in the not too long distant future.
Whatever decision the club decides to make regarding this position, the club should look to prioritize in solving the issue for the long-term rather than short-term fixes that could hinder the club from progressing. The last thing the club wants at this stage is to get taken advantage on in the market by getting a keeper that might not be up to the standard required at Stamford Bridge.
