Hi, guys.
Now is the Chinese’ s eve, half past twenty. I believe you guys are having a big dinner or watching the Spring Festival Gala, right? Now I'm in my hometown, Sha Xian. Maybe you don't know my hometown very much except the SNACKS. Well, that's normal in my sights because when the stereotypes take shape, they will narrow our view of the world. Since last year, the scenery of Sha Xian has become more and more beautiful especially the night scenes. This is a photo I took several days ago. I hope you can come here and have a look when you have time.
Time witnessed the development of my hometown, so I ought to review what I did this year and expect what I should do next year today, the last day of the lunar calendar. I make a timeline at the bottom of the video. If you are interested in some parts of it, you can rely on it to land precisely. If you have plenty of time and like watching all of it, I would be very welcome. OK, let’ s start.
Campus Life
Speaking of campus life, I just say impressive ones.
First, the room in our dorm has been changed from 5 to 4. The personal space becomes larger, and we roommates are still very harmonious. We studied, dined, chatted and so on. (WOW, that's pretty good)
Second, I took a tennis course this year. I found tennis is a pretty interesting sport. That's so GOOD. After this semester's study, now I can play with my classmates back and forth. Well, I show you the precious video.
You must know that I joined many organizations such as university student union, student technology innovation and entrepreneurship center, Youth League Committee of Education Faculty last year. I can’t forget those abundant and happy memories definitely. But I realized it’s time to study, so I chose to spend most of the time on it. Fortunately, I passed the CET 6 and NCRE level 2. I hope everyone will pass CET 4 and 6, NCRE level 1 and 2, level 2 grade A in Mandarin test, teacher’ s qualification exam … … In a word, pass all the exams!!!! FIGHTING!!!
Focusing on learning, which means I need to squeeze a piece of time. So I put my student work on my faculty, and operate our faculty's official weibo. Please scan the QR code to subscribe to it. This year, I felt the importance of the work of minister committee and the happiness of training juniors. It is really like a teacher. Of course, the main works this year are basically the same as last year’ s. To summarize, it is dull but also gives a lot of unique gains.
This is my review of this year's campus life.
Personal development
I thought of days of learning online in the first half year when I wrote here. Do you have the time which mute in early class and go back to sleep, multithreading which included eating, noting and listening? It’s evident learning online is what you have to do every day at that time. Because of the sudden change in the pattern of class, I fell into thinking about how to learn well online. Finally, I chose a mind mapping software called Xmind to organize what I’ve learned. In the latter half of the year, I also used it to learn complex courses. Hoping that I won’t panic about it when I work in the future.
In addition, I asked you to recommend some books about psychology during summer vacation this year. Now I mostly read all of it. They let me know that mind is the most complex thing in the world. I’ll share my thoughts through a column on Bilibili. Of course, if I have time, I’ll make a video.
Lastly, I have a confusing experience. Although my younger brother is 4 years old, I still don't communicate with him calmly sometimes. Maybe I like the quiet environment. When little kids come into my room, I’ll be agitated. So this is the difficulty I have to solve next year. If anyone has any solutions, please comment, thanks so much.
Review and Prospect
First, I set 5 goals in 2019, which are:
1. pass CET 6
2. pass NCRE level 2
3. level 2 grade A in mandarin test
4. be a tutor, earn my first salary.
5. Read a book about psychology
6. Weight below 80 kg.
Let’s check it out. So far, CET 6 and NCRE level 2 have passed smoothly. According to my state at that time, I can’t pass L2GA in mandarin test this year. Then, I came to be a tutor this summer vacation. More than that, I worked as an English teacher in a summer training class. I felt a sense of accomplishment. Now I still chat with them and encourage them. Next, I’ve read <Thank you> and <The crowd>, but haven’t read half of the < How to Win Friends & Influence People>. Finally, my weight now is 81.1kg, almost got the goal, gosh!!
We have stumbled through a year with our nation even the world in 2020. This year, there are so many memories that belong to us. But the earth is still working and the world is still facing sharp change. We still have to put ourselves together and study hard. So, here are my goals for 2021:
1. pass Translating Comprehensive Aptitude, level3 of CATTI (China Accreditation Test for Translators and Interpreters). I think people are the ones who challenge themselves, so I aim to take the test called ”Chinese IELTS” unofficially. Also, it is one of my dreams to be an interpreter. So I will study hard in English. Go for it!!!!!
2. Won a second-class scholarship. Thanks to my efforts, I won a third-class scholarship this year, which is worth celebrating. But I won’t stop. I hope to achieve this goal by studying hard and taking part in school activities and enriching myself.
3. Pass the teacher's qualification exam. I will be in grade 3 next year and be a BIG BROTHER!!! As the saying goes” Flowers have a new day, people are no longer young”. The exam is important for my career. Therefore, I’ll prepare for summer vacation or earlier, hoping to get through the difficulty.
4. Read the book I haven’t finished and read a book about pedagogy then write an impression. I decide to read pedagogic books. Now I am reading"<Principles of Instructional Design> written by Gagne. It’s so complicated. But I will read it before the summer vacation.
5. Weight below 75 kg. I don’t say anything. It is the truth that control your diet and exercise properly.
I put this flag here today and I will try my best to realize it. Well, it is time to ring the New Year bell. Now it is Beijing time one to twenty-four. Let’s witness the arrival of the new year. Let’s countdown, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
