Labour force: the number of available workers in an area; 

*“Labour” itself doesn’t sound very nice. It sounds a little bit disrespectful. Because “labour” or “labourers” are people with no real training.They are doing the lowest possible type of work. We don’t really call pepole labourers much anymore. It’s a little bit insulting to them.  (Forget it!)
