         作者讲述了自己偶遇一位陌生人的奇幻经历,并由此思考了人与他者的关系、人的本质等问题,同时推荐了摄影家罗伯特·柏格森在美国旅行时拍摄的影集A Kind of Rapture。

1. 作者简介,本文概要

        作者简介:Toni Morrison, American writer noted for her examination of Black experience (particularly Black female experience) within the Black community. She received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1993.

        Notable Works:The Bluest Eye,Song of Solomon,Beloved

         作品梗概:Toni Morrison discusses a strange incident she had once with a quirky old fisherwoman, and uses this story to go off into a discussion of how media images shape the way we view other people & even prevent us from really getting to know the strangers we meet.
