Wild -
Deep-sea fish are generally terrifying, and Eastmanosteus easily takes the title of the most terrifying deep-sea fish I ever witnessed. Living in the darkest depths of the island’s abyssal water, they are fairly slow, even placid, lethargic fish. However, make no mistake……Eastman are ravenous predators.
I can best compare Eastmanosteus to a modern-day Sixgill Shark. It is a deep-sea predator which, although slow by nature, is capable of attaining surprising speeds when chasing prey….as a matter of fact, Eastmanosteus are all about food. Whenever death reaches the abyss, Eastmanosteus are able to sense it from a considerable distance, and rush in to feast…..as such, they are also SOMETIMES lured up to the surface by fresh meat, although this is usually during the night. Their powerful, double-hinged jaws tear and puncture flesh much more easily than the jaws of their larger relative, Dunkleosteus. In comparison, Dunkle is more of a crusher; while Eastman takes clean, savage bites to tear through flesh!

Where to begin….Eastmanosteus’s powerful jaws are easily a formidable weapon, able to tear through all kinds of armor and slice down smaller foes in an instant, with those who haven’t been killed suffering profuse bleeding. Also as a placoderm, its natural armor protects it from attack. Its slow metabolism also means it is easier to maintain than most other creatures. Its thick armor also means most ocean creatures don’t bother to attack it!
HOWEVER, Eastmanosteus’s thick armor prevents knockout taming. This means one must offer Eastmanosteus food in order to domesticate it….yet like most denizens of the abyss, Eastmanosteus has a strict “don’t waste food” policy: instinctively, it’ll always snap at anything vaguely close to its head or immediate vicinity. To any survivor vaguely close to its jaws, this is an almost guaranteed instant death, as it is easily capable of killing a survivor regardless of armor in one single bite!

其他地图（官方免费DLC）：遵循以上刷新规律，虽然可用尸体吸引伊斯特盾皮鱼，但伊斯特盾皮鱼依旧十分稀有——即便在海怪云集的中心岛也是如此。
谈及盾皮鱼类，很多人想到的都是大名鼎鼎的邓氏鱼以及霸鱼，相比之下伊斯特盾皮鱼完全名不见经传，关于其的资料内容也少之又少。然而，就是这样一种不知名的，现实体长1.5米的中型掠食性盾皮鱼却成为了方舟模组中极少数的盾皮鱼之一，甚至作为附加生物（Additional Creatures，不是ark additions，我谢谢各位了）模组最早期的成员之一。要知道，当时就连作为AC系列门面的，名震一方的野性方舟模组也尚未登陆创意工坊。虽然现实中伊斯特盾皮鱼的知名度极低，但其也是具有特殊意义的AC元老生物了，可是伊斯特盾皮鱼却像水族馆模组中的许多现代生物（伊斯特盾皮鱼是古生物）迟迟没能得到TLC，就连其刷新数量也过于稀少，实在令人唏嘘。
伊斯特盾皮鱼的各项属性相对同模组的后起之秀而言就显得有些普通了：649基础生命，529基础耐力，629基础负重，162%混合伤害以及并不快的移速使其在面对模组生物乃至原版生物时都显得有些过于普通，加之其极为稀少的刷新量，很多玩家甚至不知道伊斯特盾皮鱼的存在。不过，伊斯特盾皮鱼作为盾皮鱼类的强悍的防御力还是能够在一些场合起到作用
技能：
左键：撕咬，82点基础伤害，无视护甲并破甲，造成“bleed”效果（见大白鲨）
伊斯特盾皮鱼对所有伤害有40%减免
大部分深海生物不会主动攻击伊斯特盾皮鱼
其他项，特殊项以及吐槽：
1，真不是因为我懒或者没能力才不翻译图鉴，我觉得伊斯特盾皮鱼的地位加之图鉴古早使得翻译图鉴并不是那么必要，而且各位也可以根据原文自己翻译。
2，这么冷门的模组生物结果种名颇为霸气，不知道为啥
3，伊斯特盾皮鱼的模型……只能用悲剧来形容
4，水族馆可单独成一期的生物也不多了，进入暂时完结的倒计时。
