AP 统计名词解释--a (y-intercept of LSRL)

         AP Statistics (统计学)中有很多需要解释意义的概念。如果是简答题，在背一个通用答案之后，再加入具体题目的背景。概念的解释选择题和简答题都会考。新学的概念尽量都要知道它们的意义。

        linear regression 中 a, y-intercept, 的意义: The predicted value of the response variable is ... when the explanatory variable is zero. 

        描述 the response variable predicted by the least squares regression line 一定不要忘了 predicted (或类似意思的词）！
