一、单词记忆

首先我们来学习一个名词：丁克，指的是那些具有生育能力而选择不生育，除了主动不生育，也可能是主观或者客观原因而被动选择不生育人群。然后我们来看我们今天的这个单词extinction，最前面的前缀ex表示out，“出去”的意思，最后面的tion，表示这个名词，中间的tinc的读音就很像丁克，如果地球上所有人都丁克的话，那么人类就会从地球上out了，所以extinction就是“灭绝，消亡”的意思。
