第四节 过去分词用作定语时的翻译

英语中的过去分词用作定语翻译成汉语时，可以译成定语、表语、状语、谓语、

名词等。

4.1 译 成 定 语

过去分词可译成对应的汉语动词并在其后加上“的”用作定语。

1. They were wanted criminals, drug smugglers, money smugglers, illegal immigrants

—and, yes, a few were suspected terrorists.

他们是通缉犯、毒品走私犯、金钱走私犯、非法移民——而且，一点不假，有

几个是恐怖分子嫌犯。
