·课文

    Our neighbor, Captain Charles Alison, will sail from Portsmouth tomorrow. We shall meet him at the harbour early in the morning. He will be in his small boat, Topsail.Tapsail is a famous little boat. It has sailed across the Atlantic many times. Captain Alison will set out at eight o'clock so we shall have plenty of time. We shall see his boat and then we shall say good-bye to him. He will be away for two months. We are very proud of him. He will take part in an important race across the Atlantic.

say goodbay/hi to sb.    对某人说 再见/你好

be away    离开

take part in    参加（从 ... 拿走一部分）

He will be away for two months.    （be动词表状态，保持离开两个月）

He will leave for two months.    错（leave 是瞬时动词，所以后面不能接时间）

He has died.

He has died for ten years.    错

He has been dead for ten years.
