由于懒得造娃，Lisa Stark拨打电话，领养了一个男婴取名为Jack Stark，并希望把他培养成了歌坛巨星。为了达成这个目标，她赐予了娃virtuosos（艺术大师，艺术爱好者）的天赋：
Virtuosos have a natural gift with musical instruments and are often considered the best musicians. As such, they earn more as musicians when playing for tips and learn more quickly.
Jack is a Virtuoso, which means learning how to play instruments will be a breeze for him.

Jack也遵循母亲的意愿，选择了singer(歌手)这一职业：
Being a singer is all about singing, and to really succeed, you'll need to be willing to belt it out anywhere. You'll start off singing for tips on the street and performing Sing-A-Grams for money, but if you show real promise, you'll soon be on your way to sold out gigs（现场演奏会） and superstardom!

③Get gigs: Once you're level 2 or higher, get invited to sing in venues around town.

闲来无事时，为了积攒自己的工作经验，Jack也会在街头倾情演奏，自弹自唱，为了赚取一点小费维持生计（perform for tips）。
Jack just sang his best, hoping that others would be impressed enough by his performance to drop a few Simoleons.
为了获得工作经验和赚取小费，Jack还可以去人多的地方弹吉他：Play for tips。
初次去公园弹琴对Jack来说是一次很棒的心流体验：

the polite interest这个名词词组英文中还挺常见的（虽然中文感觉这俩词搭配在一起很怪），表示礼貌而有兴趣。
业余时间Jack还会去KTV献唱(只是词也唱不对还跑调)：
Jack sang karaoke. The lyrics weren't quite what he remembered, and it's possible some of the tune got scrambled. But that doesn't stop him from wanting to do it again!
要get gigs，Jack就要去公园(park)，咖啡厅(Coffeehouse)向业主表演面试（audition for a singer gig），谋求一个站上大舞台的机会：
Jack has asked the proprietor（业主） to give him a gig. He will always remember gathering his courage, and putting himself out there to be judged.
有时面试失败：
You're not quite up to this venue's standards, Lana Del Rey. Come back and try again after you'be practiced a bit more.

面试成功后就可以站上大舞台了。但在表演开始之前，Jack还需要自己搭建好舞台：

可以选择venue，即场景自带的；也可以选择custom，自己定制。选择custom，Jack可以在舞台上添置一些stage props（舞台道具）。
在完成表演之后，Jack会收到很多观众的评价( The reviews of your show are in! )：

"If there were a DVD of this show, it would come in a generic(一般的，通用的) black and white box labeled 'Singer Concert.'"

1.Sing for Your Supper: The owner of the Coffeehouse is a retired musician who likes to help out aspiring singers. Stop by with a big appetite and get a free meal for a song.

2. Sorting the Section: The music section at Bookstore has become a tad（小孩子，小男孩） unruly（不守规矩的，任性的） and they need an expert to come in and sort things. Quickly travel to the bookstore to help out and earn a little money.

Phew! You were able to tidy the Bookstore before the situation worsened, saving countless lives and making it possible to shop again! The bookstore wants to thank you with this money, as well as this new composition you uncovered in the depths of the music section!
3. Showtime in the Park: You can sing anywhere in the Park, but getting a gig to perform on the Park Stage will attract a lot more attention…and could jump-start（启动，发动，推动） your career.
Objective: Go to the Park and audition for the Proprietor. Get a gig and complete it.

eg. The show was the musical sensation of the season.
4.Tons of Tips: Brooks Walsh wants to see if you're talented enough to earn some serious cash playing in town. Earn $500 Simoleons in tips and check back with Brooks Walsh to earn a cash bonus and improve your relationship.

完成后：
Other street musicians cower when they see you approach, because they know you're going to earn all the tips there are to be made. Take this cash bonus for playing! Your relationship with Brooks Walsh has also improved.
5. Singing in the Streets: Practicing at home is great, but to become a real performer you need to get out and sing to an audience. Any public place will do...and you just might earn some tip money while you're at it.
6. Showtime at the Coffeehouse: Many famous singers start out performing in Coffeehouse. Though they usually also play guitar and maybe look a little grungy(美俚：蹩脚的，邋遢的).

7. Cut a Demo: An up-and-coming record producer attended one of your shows and wants to help you record a demo of your songs! He works in a recording studio at the Theater. Stop by, and he'll help you turn your music into a CD!

8. Rags to Riches: Every star has a story. Go to the bookstore and read about how other aspiring singers made their dreams come true. It will give your mood a boost.

9. Audio Cardio: A singer needs a strong pair of lungs. Hit the gym to pump up the volume on your singing skills.

10. Local Musician Showdown: A large group of local musicians have pooled their resources to fund a guitar competition with a behemoth（巨大的，高大的） cash prize for the winner! Travel to the Theater to compete before the competition ends. If you're in a good enough mood and your guitar abilities are up to snuff, you just might take home that cash prize!

11. Showtime on Center Stage: You're ready to move from Sing-A-Grams and performing for tips to taking center stage... on an actual stage! Audition at any of the Live Show Venues, and take your career to the next level.
12.Guitar Up!: The theater owner likes when you're doing with your guitar abilities, but wants to see you take your talent one step further. Improve your Guitar Skill by one level and the Theatre owner will reward you with a new composition!

13. Kumbaya: It's team-buildig time at the Business Tower. Go lead the middle managers(中层管理人员) in a rousing rendition（演唱） of Kumbaya and earn some moolah(俚语：钞票，钱).

14. Some Hogan Rock: The famous guitar player Berjes Hogan is giving a seminar today titled "Not Fretting When the Frets Won't Work." Visit the Bookstore in time for a little inspiration... you'll never regret listening to Hogan.

It was quite a shock to find that Berjes Hogan speaks as elegantly as he plays the guitar. What a rewarding event! You're now inspired... you should play the guitar while you have your muse!
(小人外出perform a Sing-A-Gram 的时候很容易莫名其妙着火死掉，为了达到Vocal Legend我消耗了三个Jack...刚开始不停地让Jack弹吉他play for tips以为会加工作经验，结果最后发现只有唱歌perform for tips才会加。累死了，以后还是开秘籍吧O.O)
