1.intentional adj.故意的，有意的
intentionally=deliberately=on purpose adv.故意，有意
intention n.目的，意图
have no intention of doing sth不想做某事
do A with the intention of doing B带着做B的想法去做A
……（某活动）is intended to do sth=is designed to do sth某活动的目的是
……（某活动）is intended for sb某活动是专门为某人举办的
2.where引导抽象地点时，可以引导职业、氛围、活动等。
定语从句填关系词，若从句完整，则：
①判断why：前面必须有reason；
②判断时间（when）：前面必须有表示时间的名词；
③以上2种都不对，那就直接填范围最广泛的where。
3.respect n.方面
in that respect在那个方面
4.complex=complicated adj.复杂的，（内容太多）难懂的
sophisticated [səˈfɪstɪˌkeɪtɪd] adj.复杂巧妙的，精密的；老练的，老成的
5.check to see确认一下
check to see if the salary has arrived
6.Can I have your attention?
7.praiseworthy adj.值得称赞/表扬的
8.seek professional help/advice
seek to do sth想办法做某事
9.vague adj.模糊的，含糊的；不具体的，粗略的
10.go beyond超越
