They had gone to The Valley to look at some dogs, and of course come home with a little puppy. Like the previous one, this was a Pomeranian, but Oliver’s fur was as red as a fox. Tim declined to be on Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show during the autumn; he declined even when Jesse Waits contacted him with a lucrative offer to play at his twin brother’s newly opened club in Miami.

That same autumn, singer Chris Martin was sitting at home at his piano. It was a special and somewhat tumultuous time for the Englishman, who had recently moved to Los Angeles with his wife Gwyneth Paltrow and their two children. Now the ten-year marriage was about to end.
