雅思口语Part2 话题：新建的公共设施

题目

Describe a newly built public facility (such as parks, cinemas etc.) that influences your city

You should say:

Where is this facility

When it was built

What people can do there

What influence this facility has

题目分析详解

该题目括号里的内容给了我们一些答题方向。

公园或者电影院，这两个题目是雅思口语的常客，尤其part 1部分经常涉及到这方面的内容。

如果想要描述公园，我们的方向有很多。

比如，公园里面有什么？

我们可以从这些角度去说：trees, grass, birds, fountains, lakes, flowers.

再比如，公园里能做什么？

我们可以说：go for a walk, fly a kite, walk my dog.

还可以思考公园的好处：provide people a place to hide away from cities’ noise.

如果想要描述cinema，如今的电影院一般都在商场里面，我们要会说这个词“integrated shopping mall”。

然后我们可以结合movie这个话题，来描述cinema. 大家可以结合自身的词伙积累，来决定要描述哪一个设施。

这道题目的有一个小细节在于newly，在答题的时候，第一句要体现这个newly，比如你可以说：there is a park built recently, 或者there is a new cinema。还有一个小细节在于第二个小问“when it was built”，注意这个问题要用过去时态。

参考范文

I’d like to share with you a newly built park in my hometown. Well, it locates at the city’s outskirt, which is not far away from my house, but all our citizens can go there easily by bus or undergrounds because of our city’s mature public transport construction. Its constructing work was just finished in this January and since then has been available for public use.

As for the activities that we can do there, for me personally, I’d like to walk my dog there. In that park, there is an extremely large area of lawn, which is my dog’s favorite because he can run freely there. And I noticed that a lot of people would like to go for a walk there, to enjoy the trees, birds, and fountains there.

In terms of its impact, in the area that I live in, there was no public park there. But now this park offers us a place to hide away from the city’s noise and to enjoy nature and plants. Also, we now have a place for our outdoor activities. So I think this park to some degree enrich our life.
