《流浪地球II》的幕后制作 

为了让《流浪地球2》中的设定、道具和细节更加真实可信，导演郭帆与团队构建了多达20万字的世界观，邀请中国科学院多个院所的科学家联合参与。以百科全书的方式进行电影世界观的设定，分为社会科学和自然科学两部分，按照图书馆分类学撰写词条，包括地理环境、天文历法、职业构成、生活习惯等，涵盖人类生活和对空间探索的方方面面 。 

剧组为了让“太空电梯”场景呈现出真实感和视觉工业感，设计团队提前画好设计草图，再进行实体制作，每一步都如同设计高级工业零件一样精细。为了更好地让主演们在大银幕上呈现出“年轻化”的效果，幕后主创团队在正式拍摄1年前就开始进行技术实验，尝试过国际上现有的五、六种常用方法，但效果都不甚理想，最终决定以人工智能的算法作为基础去进行进一步的训练。影片正式开机前，剧组启用了位于东方影都5号棚的影视虚拟化制作平台，用数字技术对影片实际拍摄的整个过程进行了全面细致地虚拟化预演，到实际拍摄时，演员已经可以直观地看到“可视化剧本”。 

该片经历四年的拍摄与制作，于2021年10月至2022年3月期间在青岛、海口两地拍摄。2022年4月，该片青岛拍摄部分杀青。
