1、It''s hot as **** in Arizona!
1)"but it''s a dry heat"

6)Jesus fucking Christ we were in Phoenix for Thanksgiving and my mother-in-law says "Don''t touch the door knob it will burn your hand."
WTF?
2、New York: we take excessive pride in our bagels

1)But in a lesser referenced part of the state, we love our chicken wings
2)I''ve seen them bagels... You have right to be prideful.
3)New York State: We''re more than just a city (and the rest of the state really doesn''t give a shit about our bagels).
4)Damn right. Same with pizza. Don''t give me any of that Chicago oversized quiche

5)And pizza. My wife is from Long Island and all I ever hear is Pizza and Bagels are the best from NY
6)Work in NY Bagel shop. Can confirm people make it a point when visiting to stop in and bring bagels back to where they live
3、In Hawaii we use our own currency, live in grass shacks with coconut bras, and paddle canoes to work/school
1)And that’s why Hawaiians always dominate the canoeing events of the summer olympics.
2)I get paid in puka shells!

1)It''s just that tourists walk too slow.
Oftentimes are too busy looking up.
2)That’s New York City, not the rest of the state.
I live in NJ but go to NYC for work every week. Even outsiders learn to move briskly. It’s because it’s one of the few places in the USA where people need to walk to get places during the workday. So the sidewalk is the road to a NYC’er. If you dawdle, it’s like driving 10 mph below the speed limit in the left lane.
Most NYC’ers will detour two blocks to avoid having to go through one of the tourist areas (like Times Square - BTW, Screw You, NASDAQ, for putting your office in Times Square) during the workday.
3)I grew up in NYC and I walk insanely fast. I still catch myself walking way to fast for my friends comfort and make a deliberate effort to slow down.
4)The first time I visited NYC it was with a native
He asked if I liked to walk. I said yeah, love to walk
He took off at a blistering pace. I had to struggle to keep up
We walked up and down Manhattan all day. At the end of the day, both of my feet were solid blisters
5)Can confirm. New Yorkers get road rage even in the sidewalks.
6)YES OMG. Get the FUCK out of my way you goddamn walking wall of china tourist mother fuckers!!
6、Mainers are friendly...but in a "Enjoy it for a bit...but please leave soon" kinda way.
Pennsylvania is Pittsburgh & Philadelphia...with Arkansas in between. And when they drive in NJ....it''s in the left lane....below the fucking speed limit...and they never fucking merge.
NJ....we''re rude & pushy...because we have to be...it''s the most densely populated state and it''s fucking crowded here. And we drive like shit anywhere that isn''t New Jersey.
(回复1)Can confirm, from Maine and I want people to like Maine, but definitely don’t want them to move here from other states. And there’s nothing worse than all the flatlanders clogging up our highways during the summer.
2)As a maine citizen yeah that''s about right. Come here see the leaves buy some lobster go the fuck home.
3)There''s a fourth area of PA you''re forgetting, NEPA is wayyyy different from the rest of the state.
4)To be fair to us PA drivers, we don''t know how to drive when there aren''t a ton of potholes around.
(回复5)In Maine so much of our income comes from tourism, so the summer months we all get slammed with people. Naturally we hate this, so the idea of "thanks for coming now give me your money and leave" is completely accurate.

1)It kind of makes sense. Because when you miss an exit you need on the toll routes there you''re totally f**ked.
8、So. Cal here, all those beautiful girls in teen movies, that show blondes and brunettes who are stupid hot/rich/popular.
.... they exist, and you have Zero chance with them. They are in another level of society.
1)To get with those girls, you have to be ridiculously rich or are ridiculously beautiful/hot.
9、California yes we talk about the traffic and our route way too much
1)Fuck, I''m not even from here originally and reading this it''s just struck me how much I''ve started doing that...
I guess it''s a substitute for constantly talking about the weather (I''m English).
2)Our Mexican food is the best.
3)Yes. I moved here from Boston and immediately noticed this. Even if you say "I fucking know where it is," you''re still likely to get directions.
10、Michigan roads are absolutely atrocious. Every main road near my house has a complete repaving planned for this summer. Road patching crews are a weekly occurrence at minimum.

12、In Washington, the stereotype is that everyone drinks lattes and are hipsters. In reality, most of the state isn’t like that at all, just Seattle.
1)I''d say that''s most of western WA. Eastern WA is practically a different state imo
2)Go over the mountains and it''s cow fuckers and truck nuts until you hit New York 3,000 miles later.
13、Mississippians do actually wear shoes in case anyone was still wondering

1)Live in Kansas. My grandparents say they used to be die-hard republicans before Brown Back rolled in. Fun fact, though: did you know Kansas is flatter than a pancake?
16、I''m curious to know what stereotypes there are for Virginia? You never see it on these lists...
