NEWS1:
The United Nations says more than a million people have now fled from Sudan（苏丹） to neighbouring countries since war broke out between rival military factions（军事派别） in April. More than 3.4 Millionaire believed to be internally displaced（无家可归的） within the country. Tom Bailey reports. These latest figures follow a bleak warning from 20 international agencies that the situation in Sudan was spiraling out of control, with millions on the verge of(在...的边缘) famine are struggling to access healthcare after four months of war. Fighting between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary rapid support forces has devastated the capital Khartoum and sparked ethnically driven violence in Darfur（苏丹地名：达尔富尔）. Efforts led by Saudi Arabia and the United States to negotiate a ceasefire have largely stalled, with humanitarian agencies struggling to provide the aid that is clearly so desperately needed.
NEWS2:
North Korea has said the American soldier who crossed into the country from the South last month wanted to seek refuge（政治庇护） in Pyongyang 's first comments on Travis King. State media said he'd harbored ill feeling against（对..心怀厌恶） the US Army. Private（二等兵） King ran across the heavily fortified（加强的，fortify） border with South Korea on a civilian tour of the area.

Poland has held its biggest military parades（阅兵） since the Cold War as its military clout grows in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The parade in the capital Warsaw（华沙） marked the Polish defeat of Russian led Bolshevik（布尔什维克） forces in 1920（苏波战争）. Speaking at the event, Poland 's Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak（波兰国防部长）explained the parade’s significance: August 15th（波兰建军节为8月15日，其来源是1920年8月15日，波兰军队击退攻入波兰境内的苏俄红军。） is not only an opportunity to pay homage to（向...表达敬意） the heroes of the victorious battle of Warsaw and to thank contemporary soldiers for defending our homeland. It's also a perfect day to show our strength, to show that we have built powerful armed forces that will effectively defend our borders without hesitation. And show that Poland has become an important player on the international stage.
NEWS4:
Donald Trump has promised to present an irrefutable（不能驳倒的） report next week which he claims will exonerate him of conspiracy charges（阴谋控告） related to the 2020 presidential election in the US state of Georgia. The former president is indicted with engaging in a criminal racketeering（敲诈勒索,诈骗） enterprise alongside 18 others also accused of trying to overturn Georgia's election result. Here is wherer Davis. In a series of messages from the Truth Social platform（美国前总统特朗普旗下的社交媒体平台Truth social）, he's promised to release next week a large complex and what he calls irrefutable report into presidential election fraud in Georgia. And he said that would lead to a complete exoneration of the charges against him. To be honest, we're not expecting anything new from Donald Trump, just perhaps a rehash（重讲） of the old allegations（指控） he made still maintaining him that he did not lose the election and that he won the election in Georgia himself.
