The rock is found.

Now stands the moment, 

a choice I cannot block.

Shall I awaken from this sweet, deceiving dream?

Or linger, lost in its sugary gleam?

This challenge is daunting, 

Yet bearing the ache of this encounter, 

Till both entwine in an inescapable quagmire, 

'Tis wiser for the pup to shatter the tie, 

Through pain's crucible they may traverse, 

Guarding him from harm's grasp, anew.

So, It's Time
