活性酯PEG（MPEG-NHS）是能与氨基（-NH2）反应的PEG衍生物，可以用来修饰蛋白质，多肽和其他任何带有氨基基团的材料或者小分子。NHS在PH7-8.5与伯胺基团反应形成稳定的酰胺键。 PEG化的活性酯具有很好的水溶性，在使用过程中要现配现用，将包装从冰箱取出，置于干燥器当中缓慢升至室温稳定，再打开瓶盖，取用。取用后充入惰性气体，封口膜封口，拧紧瓶盖装入自封袋，及时放入冰箱。
