01 学校介绍

成立于1837年，坐落于英国伦敦。全球唯一的全研究制艺术院校（无本科教育）。教授们均为国际知名艺术家，从业者和理论家。为世界级的艺术与设计学院，也是迄今历史最悠久的艺术教育机构之一，学院被誉为全球艺术与设计大师的摇篮，学术声誉冠冕全球。在QS世界大学排名 ‘艺术与设计类’ 大学排名中，皇家艺术学院已连续六年 (2015-2020) 蝉联全球第一位，超越麻省理工大学，罗德岛设计学院，伦敦艺术大学等一众知名学府。

学院拥有国家最先进的设施，优秀的研究资源和促进创意与智慧的环境。位于南肯辛顿地区的校区坐落于具有悠久的历史人文氛围的高尔街，毗邻皇家阿尔伯特音乐厅，皇家音乐学院，帝国理工大学，海德公园，维多利亚和阿尔伯特博物馆以及英国自然历史博物馆等。与帝国理工大学共享部分教育资源并有超过35年的合作办学的历史。2017年7月，苹果首席设计师乔纳森·伊夫正式出任皇家艺术学院的名誉院长。

MA/MSc Global Innovation Design

We revolve around leading international centres of innovation which collectively offer students a unique educational mix characterised by multidisciplinary intakes, shared values, complementary approaches and distinct expertise. We foster innovation that provides practical solutions to real-world issues, and our project themes in each location reflect local design culture, commercial interests and social challenges.

MA/MSc Innovation Design Engineering

Innovation Design Engineering (IDE) is a unique double Master’s Programme that has been run jointly with Imperial College London for over 39 years. You’ll take advantage of the skills and cultures of two very different organizations. The result is the rigour and precision of science, technology and engineering in combination with the inspirational and creative aspects of design.

Our interdisciplinary approach focuses on the exploration and development of impactful innovation through critical observation, disruptive design thinking, experimentation, exploration of emergent technologies, advanced engineering and enterprise activities.

We want students who are ready to be exposed to multiple perspectives and expertise. People who can critically question the present to envisage the creation of new human experiences, system-based dynamics that foster behavioral change and generate cultural, economic and societal value.

MA Service Design

Service Design is the application of design practice to services and experiences. Service design solves problems and transforms the human experience of businesses and industry as well as developing impactful solutions for complex social issues, better public services and citizen centric policy. The RCA Service Design MA programme is internationally renowned as a pioneer in the development of service design with graduating students leaving to work inside transport, telecommunications, financial services and retail companies, leading consultancies, government departments and international organizations. The course examines the complex cultural, technological and systemic issues facing businesses and governments to create new services for now and the future.
