AMA开场

K: We are should be live.

K:我们现在应该开播了。

K:Everybody and welcome to our second developer AMA.

K:欢迎各位来到我们第二次开发者问与答。

K: We got our staff here and they actually have a plus one which is always nice to have.

K:开发者们都在这,挺好的,这次我们多了一个人。

K: First of all, we have Sterling the director and COO of VOID.

G:Yoo! What's up you guys. [Laugh]

G:哟!大家好。笑

G:So I guess let's introduce myself and I talk about what I do or?

G:所以我是直接自我介绍,然后聊聊我是干啥的么?

K:Yep.

K:对。

G:I'm in charge of day to day operations of VOID.

G:我负责VOID的日常管理。

G:And I founded the company with couple of the guys.

G:不久前,我跟另外几个老哥一起创建了VOID。

G:Some, Jules, the CEO and Ryro CTO while ago.

G:如,CEO Jules,CTO Ryro。

G:And we... Yeah I'm the game director as well.

G:我们...同时我也是游戏导演。

G: So in charge of the vision for the game and stuff like that working very closely with the other guys in this channel.

G:对游戏作版本控制,以及管理其他的开发事项,跟这个频道里的老哥们合作开发。

G:And a lot of other guys in the who aren't in this channel and really told them to the other guys who make this a lot.

G:也与不在这个频道里的老哥合作,与开发者们沟通由谁来开发东西,事确实蛮多的。

G:The next make is on radio notice.

G:接下来要开发的是电台通告。

G:So I really just kind of sit there and watch everyone do their jobs.

G:所以我的工作基本就是坐在那,管着其他人干活。

G:So that everyone else does all the really good work is the poison.

K:Next up, we got the Steve(Shadykutz) another one of the programmers at void and somebody who is been an immense help trying to get all this stuff for community events.

K:Like answers to you guys. All that kind of stuff sorted out.

K:像回答你们的问题之类的事。

S:Hey, I'm Steve or Shadykutz.

S:我是Steve,也可以叫我Shadykutz。

S: So I actually  not a game programmer originally, I did corporate development for quite a while.

S:我原本其实不是游戏程序员,我干过蛮久的企业程序开发。

S:And I know a few of the people who have founded void and have been asked to come on and sort of help grow the company and put the process in and the likes.

S:我知道有几个老哥建立了Void这家公司,随后,他们邀请我加入Void,干帮助公司壮大这类的事。

S:So on the boring mean, one, I guess you could say.

S:你可能觉得这些事都挺枯燥的。

S: So i've been here for what 6,8 months now it's been really fun.

S: When my wife comes in and sees me playing computer games, I tell her i'm working and she says the war fortress is not Ready or Not.

S:当我老婆进来看见我在玩游戏的时候,我说:我在工作,她说:战争堡垒可不是严阵以待。

S: I say i'm researching.

S:我说我在市场调研。

S:So, there is one benefit.

S: But, plenty benefits. It's good.

S: I love it here.

K: Next up, we have somebody who is who should be recognizable to anybody who has look at the game or attended our first AMA and the public discord.

K: Mark(MR3D), The lead environment artist.

K:Mark(MR3D),我们的首席环境美术。

M: Hello, everyone. Nor good to be back.

M:大家好,能再见到你们的感觉真不错。

M: I really enjoy doing these AMA and getting to talk with everyone.

M: 我很享受在AMA跟你们聊天的感觉。

M: It's really good to sort of like have these kind of brainstorming sessions allows us to event a little bit as well and have that kind of relationship with you guys

M:能有这样类似头脑风暴的活动挺好的,能丰富一点举行的活动,也能拉近跟你们的关系。

M:So yar, like as mentioned my sort of day to their job is to look after the environments, not only just leading the team but also one of the core content creators from the environs themselves

M:跟介绍的一样,我的日常工作就是开发地图环境,不只是管理团队,同时我也是开发地图环境的核心人员。

M: I tend to take a level from block out stage all the way the final while also managing my team who are working on other levels.

M:我更倾向于把一张地图从白膜一路开发到完成,同时管理团队在其他地图上的开发。

M: I also sort of managed the going on with the out source when it comes to asset creation for the level specifically.

M:当涉及地图美术资源的时候,我也负责管理一些外包的事项。

M: And overall, just kind of making sure the game looks as good as it can and hopefully running smoothly as well.

M:总的来说,就是让游戏画面看起来更棒,并希望游戏跑得更顺。

K:Excellent!

K:好!

K: Next, we have a Zack.

K:接下来是Zack。

K: Composer, Sound Director and author of fire tracks for a Ready or Not.

K:作曲家、音效导演,同时也是RoN交火配乐的作者。

Z: It's doing me too much on right now. What's going on? Everyone?

Z:我现在兼得确实有点多。各位吃饭了么?

Z: First of all, I got to say, thanks to everyone for dropping in like this is crazy seeing over 200 people in here right now

Z:首先,我要感谢你们来参加AMA,现在这在听的差不多有200多个人,简直不可思议。

Z: Yeah, i'm sound leading composer with a void.

Z:确实,我是Void的首席作曲家。

Z: And believe it or not. This is actually my first major project.

Z:不管你信不信,但这确实是我第一个主负责的项目。

Z: I did some small stuff before, mainly with music.

Z:我以前参与过比较小的项目,主要负责音乐相关的东西

Z: So going to the sound side was pretty scary.

Z:所以负责音效方面的东西,我还挺怕整不好的

Z: But again, I work with probably the best team in the world when it comes to just collaboration and getting things done.

Z:但,在合作完任务方面我们的团队可能是世上最好的。

Z: So I can't be more thankful for that.

Z:对此我感激不尽。

Z: So day to day for me, basically going in getting assets getting the technical sound side done, and just also making sure the music is implemented and making sure it's all flowing together level to level and moment to moment.

Z:所以我的日常工作基本上就是在不停开发音效资源,完成音效相关的技术工作,同时确保配乐在游戏中实装,并确保配乐在所有地图任何时候都能正常播放。

Z: And it's also a learning process to just making sure that i'm listening to feedback and saying So what do players like? What do they not like?

Z:与此同时,我也要学着广泛听取玩家意见,像玩家喜欢什么风格,不喜欢什么风格。

Z: And then from there just kind of making sure the sound gets better and better.

Z:基于这些信息进一步改进我们的音效。

Z: And that's pretty much it.

K: And then we have mister Ali.

K: Somebody who is very much known to the nda members as he likes to pop in from time to time and yet again, another voids very capable team program members.

A: Hey, I'm ali. This is my first AMA as well.

A:大家好,我是Ali。这也是我第一次参加AMA。

A: I'm one of the programmers on the team.

A:我是开发团队中的程序。

A: I do a lot of things from ai to game play.

A:我负责从AI到游戏的开发。

A: And also networking. So for cop and stuff like that

A:像网络、警察这类东西也都是我在开发

K: Short and sweet isn't bad.

K:精简准确也可以。

Z: Ali like he's being way too humble right now.

Z:Ali属实谦虚过头了。

Z: He like, even if the sound team needs any help Ali is like he jumps in and offer his suggestions.

Z:如果音效团队需要帮忙,Ali就立马帮忙,给出自己的建议。

Z: Yeah like he's all over the map, he's crazy.

Z:到处都能看到他在帮忙,太牛了。

G: He is a machine, absolute machine.

G:他就像台机器,向机器一样运转。

K: Then last, but very much not least, we actually have a plus one from our original itinerary.

K:最后相比原定计划,我们临时还多加了一个。

K: We have a sam one of the members of the art teams and probably the producer of some my favorite art in the form of all the carcasso stuff.

K:让我们欢迎Sam,是我们美术团队的一员,是我最喜欢的美术元素carcasso的作者。

S: Hello, i'm sam. I guess i'm currently in a tornado right now.

S: I the lead studios and to do a lot of the concept art.

S:我负责带着团队开发概念艺术相关的工作。

S: Do it for characters.

S:为角色开发概念图。

S: Some environments do some graphic design and some UI and just anything 2D.

S:为环境设计贴图以及像UI等2D的设计工作。

S: Pretty much in the field.
