2022年11月19日联合国“世界厕所日”，首届国际厕所艺术周暨“彩虹校厕”启动仪式在中国潮州开幕。组委会为首届“国际厕所艺术周”所创作并发布的吉祥物“马桶崽”，将厕所与太空宇航员梦幻联动，迅速出圈爆红。
首届国际厕所艺术周活动前后，《联合国“世界厕所日”展映潮州卫浴宣传片》新闻一经发布，央视频、中华网、华人头条等海内外官方媒体对宣传片与活动作了的重点报导。
2022年11月19日，首届国际厕所艺术周暨“彩虹校厕”启动仪式正式开幕，全国各主流媒体纷纷响应，以艺术赋能产业，公益定义城市为主要核心思想发布新闻。
