这位已被删减的Old Wrinkly是基于原著小说里的祖父设计的，他原本是作为维京社会里的智慧老者。这个人物是Gothi的前身。Gothi是一个占卜师，在电影中多次出场，完成了不同的职责。她的职责从村庄里负责解释神秘元素的萨满，变为在需要的时候和Hiccup聊天的体贴人情的好友，最终变为村里的长老，这也是她现在的职责。

Based on the grandfather character in the original book, the now out-of-picture Old Wrinkly once served the Viking community as its "wise old man." His character was a predecessor to Gothi , a soothsayer who fulfilled a number of different duties over the course of her time in the film . Her role varied from shaman of the village when a mythic element had to be explained to an empathetic confidant for Hiccup when he needed to talk to her current role as village elder.

ALTHOUGH THEY LIVE mainly in the shadows of the more fantastical creatures of the film, there are a number of well-designed and more realistic animals that inhabitant the Viking world. It's a shame that sheep as adorable as these really only serve as fly-by appetizers/or the dragons.

Gothi was a challenge because she was the oldest character to surface , and her skin qualities were quite different from the other Vikings . ' We gave her more dull and desaturated skin , and even an old lady beard ,' recalls Head of Surfacing Sabrina Rigel . Gothi makes a brief cameo appearance along with the young Astrid models when the Vikings set sail in search of Dragon Island.
