一、教材分析
本课的主题是人与自我下的劳动习惯与技能。
Let’s learn 部分以配图加文字的方式呈现了6个关于家务劳动的词组:make the bed, iron the clothes, clean the windows, cook a meal, wash the vegetables, water the plants.
Let’s practise 部分以两个学生的对话和一张调查表呈现了本课的重点句型:What do you do at home? I …
二、教学目标
1.听、说、读、写6个有关家务的词组:make the bed, iron the clothes, clean the windows, cook a meal, wash the vegetables, water the plants
在语境中运用句型What do you do at home? I …谈论所做的家务。
对英语学习感兴趣,乐于参与课堂活动并积极思考。
在学习活动中与他人合作,共同完成Housework Tree的制作。
通过观察教材插图,获取信息,了解人物所在的场所以及所做的家务。

【设计意图】本环节的目的是激活学生的旧知,同时引出主题Housework。
Step 2: Presentation
1.Look and say
教师呈现Lingling一家三口的图片T: What’s her name? Ss: Lingling.
There are three people in her family. Lingling’s mum, dad and Lingling. What do they do at home?让学生进行猜测。
【设计意图】介绍人物背景,引发学生思考:Lingling一家在家做什么?让学生带着疑问进入词汇学习。
2.Let’s enjoy
T: What do they do at home. Let’s watch.
Can you tell me what do they do at home?
3.Look and choose
T: Exactly, what does Lingling’s mum do? Let’s watch again.通过视频引出妈妈在家做的家务教授词组
4. Let’s learn
1)learn “make the bed”,“ iron the clothes”,“ cook a meal”.
解释一下meal 的含义,In the morning, we have breakfast. At noon, we have lunch. In the evening, we have dinner. There are three meals in a day.
2) learn “clean the window”, “water the plants”
How about dad?
He .....呈现树,花,草的图片。Water the tree, water the grass, water the flowers. They are plants. 用旧知解释新知plants.
3)learn “ wash the vegetables ”
What about Lingling?
Look, what does Lingling say? Can you guess?
Ss: Mum, let me help you. Let me wash the vegetables.
T: Wow, Lingling’s a good girl. She helps mum wash the vegetables.
【设计意图】以上环节通过视频、图片和对话创设了连贯的情境,让学生在语境中学习生词。同时,又让学生发散思维,说一说与make, iron, cook, wash, clean, water有关的其他家务词组,为后面的对话做铺垫。

T:I help my mother _____ at home.
What’s Lingling like? S1:She is good. S2: She is hardworking.
T: Yes, she is a good girl. 引出Binbin is a good boy.
【设计意图】本环节的目的是让学生根据图片和板书复习所学的词组,为后面的对话做准备。同时,让学生根据图片总结Lingling的特征:helpful,呼应课题。
Step3:Practice
1)Let’s enjoy
T:Here's a good boy. His name is Binbin. I think he is a good boy,too. Let’s watch. On Mother’s Day, what does Binbin do? Does Binbin help his mother do his housework? Do you remember what does he do?
【设计意图】本环节的目的是让学生对话中运用新学的词组并结合旧知,丰富自己的语言输出

3)Free talk
T: Binbin is a good boy. Lingling is a good girl. Are you a good boy or girl at home? What do you do at home?
Step4: Consolidation & Extension
1)Make a new dialogue
教师先与一位学生对话,提供示范。然后引导学生同桌两人对话。最后上台展示。
Share four tips to make the dialogue beautiful.
2)Enjoy a video
【设计意图】由人及己,谈论自己做的家务, 并通过学生在家做家务的视频得出We help each other, we are a happy family的结论
