resemble=like / look like / be similar to
resemble是好像、相似的意思，like、look like、be similar to都有像的意思。这一组是雅思阅读考察频率最高的同义词。

recognize本身的意思是识别，但是是一个意思比较抽象的动词。注意appreciate，其本身是欣赏、认可的意思，“appreciate the importance of something”表示欣赏/认可了某个理论/事情。
