The topic of ads is a fascinating and complex enterprise. Though there are extreme polarities in positions that people consider ads ,I state the answer is a compromising one ,that is ,the advantages and disadvantages co exist.
Since the development of ads industry, ads have been a useful way to inform customers in making better choices amongst goods, which is accelerated by globalization and the springing of multinational options. Through ads ,customers can gain access to compare prices ,packages ,qualities ,customer services and so forth and this is considered as to entitle customers the right to know the product as well as stimulate corporations to provide products with competitive prices. There are also other positive views, such as those who take ads as a new form of art encompassed with subtle commercial messages to creep into our daily life . These people may try to explore the hidden selling information in the elaborately fabricated ads, which is a special recreation for them .These defend on the solid ground that ads are a nice creation in this century.
However, it is some times acknowledged that ad don’t usually tell us the truth about their products ,but instead, they either try to cover the fake info ,exaggerate the untested function or ,involve people in to a vortex ,that is ,only by constantly getting rid of the outdated stuffs and feed on the fancy ones the companies offer ,can people feel a sense of satisfaction and success, which is the main contributor of consumer society building on the circle of ads ,throwing ,and purchasing.To make things worse, as the appearance of internet and the boom of new media ,the commercials can catch our attention even we may not realize them .In other words ,they can involve us into the illusional image they create in an undiscovered way as long as we open TV, and log into an array of apps. And finally we are victimized in this consuming culture and drained our pocket empty.
As ads actually facilitate the expanding of industries and boost the economic development , in the near future ,we would still be in a world ads increasingly impacting our life in good or ill. Whether to acclaim the ads or criticize them resides on the attitude we hold towards and the only solution to stay calm down when encountering numerous is to figure out what you really need instead of following the promulgation from ads.
