第十一章 跨越时空的神庙救赎
1956年4月25日 – 世外桃源
Ultimis传送到世外桃源，以获得他们击败萨曼莎所需要的下一个物品：聚焦之石。探险家博克和盖瑞发现了“世外桃源”。在一场日蚀中，他们不自觉地被卷入了一个时间循环中。由2011 年被传回来的萨莉也和他们一样被困在了同一个时间循环中。Ultimis 也在日蚀中到达了世外桃源，凭借博克和盖瑞的帮助，他们获得了聚焦之石。
盖瑞和博克两个考察者，来到世外桃源探寻传说中的庙塔，却不小心触发了遗迹的日食，到达了将来并死于各种陷阱和僵尸围堵。同时由于回到过去的四小强帮助，多次改变命运，一直到达了遗迹，就在即将取得陨石之际，日食完却，两人又回到了过去，重新做一次他们已经做过的事。也就是说，他们会再一次启动日食，在最后会再一次被带回过去，他们已经陷入了循环的时空，永远不知情地重复着同样的命运，这就是四小强改变他们命运的最终悲剧结果。
当玩家在COTD获取荆花后，扮演瑞驰托芬的玩家右下角会有荆花样式。而来到世外桃源的原因，就是获取115陨石完成灵魂互换装置，以此来完成瑞驰托芬去往阿冈莎的计划。
以下就是世外桃源相关彩蛋剧情：
开场对白
Dempsey: Hey look at that,no power! Wait, does power even make sense in an ancient temple? Seriously, Treyarch? SERIOUSLY?
邓浦西:嘿瞧,没电。慢着!在这么一个古代庙宇里面竟然用电?你玩真的吗? Treyarch (T组)?玩真的?????????
Takeo: We have arrived at the Ancient Temple that needs power turned on..highly suspect.
武雄:我们来到了一座需要开启电源的古代庙宇...有很大嫌疑。
在MPL所在建筑的一角上的录音内容：
Man: The heat and humidity is just excruciating. According to the locals, the temple should be in this mountain range. just up this river.Gary, do you hear that? A waterfall, we must be close! Hand me the binoculars! There is a structure up ahead.If this is truly a gateway to Argatha, my work will finally be validated!
男子∶高温和潮湿实在难以忍受。根据当地人的说法,那座庙宗应该就在这座山的范围内，大概在这条河的上游。盖瑞，你听到吗?是瀑布的声音,我们一定快到了!把望远镜给我，前方有一处建筑物,如果这就是到达阿冈莎的真正大门，我的努力就能成为现实了!
Gary: Uhh, Brock, I don't think this place is abandoned.
盖瑞:额,博克,我不认为这是个荒废的地方。
Brock: Don't be silly.This place has to be thousands of years old .
博克:别傻了!这地方起码有上千年的历史了。
Brock: I have found some unfinished carvings.around the structures I can't make out. They do not look like...wait...what is this?
博克:我在建筑的周围找到了一些未完成的雕刻，我没办法看懂。它们看起来不像.....等等,这是什么?
Gary: What the hell is that? Why is the sky dark?
盖瑞︰发生了什么?为什么天变黑了?
Brock: It's an eclipse! We must've-
博克：是日食!我们肯定—
Gary: Run!
盖瑞:跑!
Gary: What are those things?
格瑞:那些东西是什么东西?
Brock: Zombies. We have to find another way.
博克:是僵尸!我们必须找另外一条路。
Gary: Zombies? What are you talking about?
盖瑞:什么?僵尸?你在说什么?
Brock: The writings must've been right. No! Don't touch that!Damn, take a look around and try to find a way out.
博克:那些资料是对的!不，别碰那个!该死的，周围看看能不能找到出去的路!
Gary: I got nothing
盖瑞:什么都没有
Brock: We will have to conserve our supplies.Take your shoes off and hand me your socks.
博克:我们必须节约我们的供应，把你的袜子给我。
Brock: I have been trapped in the temple structure for days.Gary is dead. I don't see a way out of here. I can still hear the zombies outside.I fear this is my last recording, as the battery's about to die.And I will soon follow.One thing I can be certain of, is that blood-
博克:我被困在庙宇的暗室中多天了,盖瑞已经死了。我找不到任何的出路，我还能听到外面僵尸的声音。我恐怕这是我最后的录音了，因为电池马上就要用完，然后我也会跟着死去。只有一件事我肯定的，就是那血—
从第一个录音中，我们知道了盖瑞和博克两人来到这个遗迹，格瑞首先发现了其中的不正常。博克在考察中意外地开启了日食，同时也穿越了时空，并受到了僵尸的追逐。最后，两人死于庙宇的机关中。然而当四小强开启了日食后，两群人就处于了相同的时空中，四小强于是便开始帮助两人改变命运，阻止他们落入机关中。
彩蛋剧情：
Brock: Hello, Hello?
博克:喂,有人吗?
Dempsey: Hey, there's somebody in there!
邓浦西:嘿!那里面有人!
Brock: We are stuck behind some kind of Mechanism, what ever you did move it slowly, we really could use some help here!..
博克:我们被困在了某种装置里面，无论你怎么搞只要解除它就行，我们真的需要你的帮助!
Brock:The stone is moving! It seems to be working!
博克:石头动起来了!看来有效!
Brock: Oh wonderful! There is some kind of crystal rising from the floor!
博克:哦漂亮!有一种水晶似的东西从地上升起!
Brock: Look at this, there is a passage right below, we have to push on that any chance to escape.
博克:看,右下方有一条通道，我们必须赌一把,为了离开这里。
Gary: Thanks, whoever you guys are.
盖瑞:无论你们是谁,谢了。
彩蛋中，四小强通过完成第一步帮助两人脱离了被困的局面，改变了两人命运。也就是说，博克与盖瑞在日食时是去到将来，而四小强在日食时则是回到过去，两群人在日食的时间相会。而现在可以知道，盖瑞与博克所在的现实时间的世外桃源遗迹是没有僵尸的。
Brock: We are trapped down here between two gates, and the water is rising, can you see anyway to open these gates?
博克:我们被困在下面的两扇门中间，水开始上升了，你能找到开门的方法吗?
Richtofen: Ok here's the deal, you stay on the plate, something happen, you get off, done.
瑞驰托芬 :听好了，你留在那里，会发生些什么，你就走，搞定。
这一个步骤是四小强又一次帮其脱离险境。
Brock: That did it! His leg is free and the way is clear! Let's get moving.
博克:行了!他的脚可以动了，走吧。
Brock: We're moving through a small network of tunnels. This appears to be some sort of aqueduct system.Unless this was carved out of the much later-
博克:我们正通过一个小的隧道，这看来是一种排水系统，但看起来建造了并不久—
(岩石崩塌声)
Gary: Holy crap!
盖瑞:哇靠!
这次两人从前面的门中出来后，通过了某个隧道(玩家不可见)，并且很遗憾地被垮塌的岩石砸死(或活埋)。而后面的步骤就是帮他们改变命运。

Gary: Holy crap!
盖瑞:哇靠!
Brock: We need to start digging and get past this cave-in!
博克:快挖!这样才能躲过崩塌!
Brock:Well, we lucked out on that!
博克:好吧，大难不死,必有后福!
Gary: I wouldn't classify any of this as 'lucky .
盖瑞:我不觉得我会有什么后福的!
Brock: Well we are still alive.
博克:起码我们还没死。
Gary: Shh, do you hear that?
盖瑞:嘘!你听到了吗?
Brock: Quickly! Under there!
博克:快!下去!
Gary: Great, another dead end.
盖瑞:好极了!又一条死路!
Brock: Well at least we're safe for now.
博克:好吧，起码我们安全了。
Gary: Really?
格瑞:你确定?
(气体泄漏声，咳嗽声)
(气体泄漏声，咳嗽声，人倒下声)
Brock: Gary! Gary, get up! Hello?!
博克:盖瑞!盖瑞起来!醒一醒!
这一步中，两人又在同一情况(开头与上一录音相同）开始，这次躲避了被活埋砸死的命运，却不幸走进了瓦斯泄漏区，被瓦斯呛死。所以任务就是要把瓦斯关闭。回到日食时，可以听到他们的咳嗽声。这里的对话录得不完整，大意为四小强关闭了瓦斯闸口后，虽然里面的瓦斯停止了，但两人仍被困在即将崩塌的石中，需要玩家打开开关（阀门旁边)。
Brock: That do it!
博克:成功了!
Gary: Let's get out of here before spikes shoot out of the walls and the floors open up to a pit of lava!
盖瑞:我们还是快点在墙上射出竹子或者地板突然涌出岩浆之前走吧!
通过四小强的努力，又使两人脱离了被呛死的悲惨命运。

Brock: This place is massive! The architecture is not what I expected to see. It's more of an interpretation-

Gary: What the hell's wrong with you? If this place doesn't kill us the freaking undead will. We are stuck inside some kind of trap-filled temple of death surrounded by a horde of undead and you are talking about the rugs not matching the curtains. If you don't-
盖瑞:你到底怎么回事?即使这地方没把我们弄死，那些僵尸也会。我们正被困在一个充满了陷阱，被僵尸包围的地方，然后你却在说一些牛头入时马嘴的事!如果你不——(人掉进水中的声音)
Brock:Well, this is unfortunate.

Gary:I rest my case.

Brock:The walls are too slippery to climb. I can see a tube about halfway up the side of the well, but we can't reach it.

Gary:Huh? What is that? I think something just swam past my leg.

Brock:Where?

Gary:I dunno!
盖瑞:我不知道!(落水声，淹水声)
悲剧的两人在这里则被淹死了，于是四小强继续需要去拯救两人。
Brock: Hello? We are stuck down here! Could you give some help, fill up the water we can get out!
博克:有人吗?我们被困在下面了!你能帮我们把水提高(即可够到墙上的管子)吗?
拯救两人后，两人继续靠近庙塔然而——
Brock:Yes, we can reach the top!(水声)
博克:”好了，这样我们就能到达顶端!(四小强打开瀑布水以后)
Gary:I can see the outside.
盖瑞:我能看到外面了!
Brock:Thank heavens, we're finally out of the wretched catacombs.
博克:感谢上帝，我们终于离开那个恐怖的坟墓了!
Gary:There's still a full eclipse!
盖瑞:日食仍然是全食!
Brock:Yes,it's very strange. I've-been thinking about those unfinished carvings we saw before the eclipse occurred and can't help but think they hold some kind of key clues. We should investigate the stepped pyramid for some clues.
博克:对，太奇怪了。我一直在想着我们在日食发生前看到的未完成雕刻虽然没什么用，但也许是什么线索的关键，我们应该考虑一下,看一下能否找到什么线索。
Gary:I think we should get the hell out of here while we still have a chance!"
盖瑞:”我觉得我们趁还有机会快点离开这个地方!
Brock:But we're so close to proving the existence of Arg-l
博克:但是我们马上就能证明阿冈莎的存在。(弹射陷阱开启声音)
博克很遗憾地踩到了陷阱(一种捕熊用的弹射尖矛陷阱)惨死,他的尸体可以在矿车旁边被发现。(在上一步之前是没有的,这是他的另一个命运)
在活死人的召唤剧组消失以后，罗梅罗的助手萨莉为了寻找失踪的罗梅罗开始搜索线索。她
的探索最终将她带到了日蚀中的世外桃源。而不巧的是这个陷阱正是萨莉布置的。
因此，四小强又一次帮他又一次改变了命运，炸毁了陷阱。
于是，他们的进展得以继续-
Gary:I can see the outside.
盖瑞:我能看到外面了!
Brock:Thank heavens, we're finally out of the wretched catacombs.
博克:感谢上帝，我们终于离开那个恐怖的坟墓了！
Gary:There's still a full eclipse!
盖瑞:日食仍然是全食!
Brock:Yes, it's very strange. I've been thinking about those carvings we saw before the eclipse , Give me a moment. Hmm
博克:是的,非常奇怪，我还在想我们在日食前看到的雕刻。给我点时间，嗯...
Gary:Aw jeez, man. Do we really have to do this now?
盖瑞:哦天啊，我们真的要现在来研究么?
Brock:Yes! They do match the pictures on that tattoo!It's a code: 16, 1,3, 4. It's nothing much. Perhaps we have to-

这次，由于四小强已经把所有雕刻都完成(上一个彩蛋步骤），所以博克能成功研究出其中的意思，16,1,3,4的密码给予玩家正是代表了在泥庙中四个图腾转盘的旋转位置。只需要四小强帮助调整。
Brock:We've made it inside the top of the temple,I can see an antechamber through a crack in the wall but there is no way to get inside, it's completely infused.
博克:我们已经成功地到达了庙塔的顶部，我能看到墙壁的另一边,但我没办法过去，它封闭得很严实。
Gary.If we had a stick of dynamite I could get us in there.

Brock:"Well unless you brought some I think we're not getting any further."

Gary:I had some in my bag but dropped it when we were attacked by that horde of zombies. By the look of it out there,we're not gonna be able to stroll around looking for it.

Brodk:So close to the answers-

两人活着到达了庙塔，却因为一墙之隔没有办法看到最终的结果，四小强决定帮助他们拿到炸药，在他们放弃之前再一次改变他们的命运。
Gary:If we had a stick of dynamite I could get us in there.
格瑞:如果我们有一串炸药炸墙就能进去了。
Brock:Well unless you brought some l think we're not getting any further.
博克:除非你有，不然我们就到此为止了。
Gary:I had some in my bag but dropped it when we were attacked by that horde of zombies.
盖瑞︰我有带在我的包里，但是在我们被僵尸袭击时掉了。
Gary: OK, you bring me that stick of dynamite. I'll open this bitch-up like a can---.Then can we get the hell out of here?
盖瑞:好啊，你把炸药给我，我把这墙像罐头一样翘掉!然后我们就能离开这里了吧?
Brock: Of course, I just need to see the inside of the temple.
博克:当然了，我只想看到庙塔的内部而已。
Gary: Alright, here we go! Everybody get back!
盖瑞:好了!所有人都退后!
最后一个录音带。
Brock: Now entering the antechamber. I see some sort of altar and there is a rock suspended above it. This is just wonderful,an inscription: Rich-tof-en. Richtofen.Gary, take an etching.
博克:现在进入内室。我能看到一个祭坛。上面漂浮着一块陨石实在是太神奇了!祭坛上写着:Rich-to-fen ,Richtofen.盖瑞,把它拓印下来。
Brock: The rock above the altar seems to be suspended in thin air! I am going to remove it now!
博克:祭坛上的陨石像在空中飘浮,我现在要把它拿下来！(时空传送的声音)
Gary: We've,been in this jungle for days and haven seen any sign of this hidden temple.
盖瑞:我们已经在从林中搜寻几天了，没有找到任何关于那座庙塔的踪迹。
Brock: We cannot give up; it has to be here.
博克:我们不能放弃，它肯定就在那。
Gary: I can't shake this feeling like we're going in circles.

Brock: We should head to higher ground and take a look.

他们两人找到了祭坛上的陨石，但在这瞬间日食结束了，两个人回到了日食之前的时间，之前出现过的话又一次出现了。同时，在四小强这边，一切为了改变两人命运的行动也被撤销（消失的水晶消失，彩蛋重启)。玩家又可以重复彩蛋步骤。
