这个习语其实来自于Aesop’s Fable（伊索寓言）里

The Tortoise and the Hare （龟兔赛跑）的故事，

It means that working too quickly can lead you to make mistakes and fail, while patient,

persistent work will allow you to conquer any problem eventually.

在涉及到生活节奏，achieve something, 等话题中，运用这个短语很贴切，

同时还可以remind yourself, slow and steady wins the race,

sometimes you need to slow down. No hurry.
