Trouble
法语的“trouble”和英语的“trouble”是一对“假朋友”（faux amis）。看起来，两个词的意思好象差不多，但要当心啦：小心上当!
英语的“trouble”一般是“麻烦事，问题”（difficulté, mal, ennui），比如：
This job is just too much trouble.
Ce boulot me donne beaucoup de mal.
这个工作真麻烦呀。
但这纯属“知识，技术”等外在的问题。而法语的“trouble”一般是指“情绪上，内心的波动,困扰”（emotional disturbances）
例如：
Il faisait de son mieux pour cacher son trouble, mais je voyais bien qu’il était ému.
He was trying hard to hide his agitation/inner turmoil but I could see he was quite overcome.
他尽力掩饰胸中的波澜，可我能看出他真的很激动。
Le trouble du premier candidat était visible. Je m’efforçai de le mettre à l’aise.
The first candidate’s confusion/embarrassment was obvious. I did my best to put him at his ease.
第一个应试者明显很紧张（慌）。我尽力让他平静下来。
La seule évocation de ce nom suffit à plonger la jeune femme dans un trouble délicieux.
The mere mention of the name is enough to give the young woman a pang of delight.
只要一提到他的名字，这个年轻女人心中就"小鹿乱撞"。
法语动词“troubler”也有 “造成情绪上，内心的波动”（to disturb emotionally）的意思（perturber, rendre perplex）。
例如：
Tu ne vois pas que tu la troubles avec tes questions indiscrètes?
Can’t you see you’re making her nervous/you’re flustering her with your indiscreet questions?
你难道看不出来吗？你冒冒失失提出的问题让她很难堪呀。
L’orateur se troubla devant les questions pertinentes de son adversaire.
The speaker was flustered /was put off by his adversary’s pertinent questions.
讲演者被对手切中要害的问题弄得张口结舌。
Elle a été profondément troublée par la mort de son jeune frère.
She was deeply disturbed by the death of her younger brother.
弟弟的去世使她备受打击。
Il y a un détail qui me trouble dans toute cette histoire.
There’s one detail that’s puzzling/bothering me in this whole affair.
这件事中有个细节让我感到很不安。
法语的动词“troubler”还可以是“影响，扰乱，模糊（思维，视线等）”（perturber la pensée, la vue, etc.）
例如：
Le champagne lui troublait les idées.
The champagne clouded his thoughts.
香槟喝多了，他脑子有点乱。
Les larmes lui troublaient la vue.
Tears clouded/blurred her vision.
眼泪模糊了她的视线.
法语名词“troubles”（复数）还可以指“（社会）动乱, 骚乱”。
例如：
Des troubles ont éclaté dans le nord du pays.
Disturbances/unrest broke out in the north of the country.
这个国家的北部出现了动乱。
Dans cette periode de troubles politiques et sociaux, l’économie du pays périclitait.
In that period of political and social disturbances/unrest, the country’s economy declined rapidly.
在这一时期，国家发生了政治和社会动乱，经济状况迅速恶化。
对比法语，英语的名词“trouble”更侧重客观的“问题，麻烦事”本身， 而不涉及内心的情绪，一般译为“ennui，problème”等。
例如：
They’ve had a great deal of trouble with their elder daughter.
Ils ont eu beaucoup de problèmes avec leur fille aînée.
他们与大女儿之间发生了很多问题。
I’ve had some engine trouble since I had that accident.
J’ai des ennuis de moteur depuis que j’ai eu cet accident.
自从发生事故之后，发动机就老出毛病。
That would have saved us a lot of trouble.
Cela nous aurait évité bien de ennuis/désagréments.
要是当初那样做了，会省多少麻烦呀！
The trouble with her is that she never says what she thinks.
L’ennui avec elle, c’est qu’elle ne dit jamais ce qu’elle pense.
