Salaries have not kept pace with the industry and with the times, and with emerging technologies, we're really far apart. And we deserve a living wage.

• And TV set is one of the more egalitarian （a.平等主义的）places to work. You will see people in all income levels working on that set and the people who make up （创作，编写〔故事、歌曲、游戏等〕）all the sh*t you like on film and television deserve a fair wage.

• This is all of our fight. With the emergence of AI, we want to establish the basic rule that writers are humans, which you would think be kind of a gimme（[用于书面英语中，表示give me的非正式发音形式]；轻而易举之事）, but it doesn't seem to be so far in negotiations.
